TNMWA - 09/02/05 - Show 5

CarlzillaPosted on 09/03/05 at 04:45:03

Blood and Splinters Triangle Match:
Psymin and Carlzilla battled to a no contest in 0:07:23.
Rating: ** 1/4

Highlights:
- Match started really slow, and eventually got better.
- Carlzilla threw the ref over the top rope he was out for a pretty long time.
- Carlzilla and Psymin both busted each other open while the ref was down.
- The big ref bump led to some confusion about who was busted open first; Carlzilla or Psymin.
- El Moderator called the match a no contest.

Rebel INS pinned Jason Morgan with the 1001110101 in 0:12:20.
Rating: *** 1/2

Highlights:
- Morgan was winning pretty easily, but Carlzilla decided to interject himself into the and attacked Morgan outside the ring.
-Morgan was unable to regain the upperhand and INS walked away with a cheap and tainted win.

Carlzilla made Rebel INS submit to a Ghidorah sleeper in 0:10:07.
Rating: ****

Highlights:
- This match was really enjoyable to the fans.
- Both INS and Carlzilla had the fans going crazy.
- INS was destroying Carlzilla but a frying pan to the head thanks to Rick Garrard took care of that.
- Carlzilla locked in the Ghidorah Sleeper and walked away victorious.

Four Corners Match for the vacant TNMWA Board Heavyweight Title:
Unright defeated America Mamushi, Phudjie and Rick Garrard:
x Unright beat Phudjie via the Weak Shove in 0:13:59
x Unright beat A. Mamushi via a backbreaker in 0:20:07
x Unright beat The Rick via the Weak Shove in 0:24:14
Rating: *** 1/4
(Unright won the TNMWA Board Heavyweight Title.)

Highlights:
- I don't really need to tell you that Unright dominated this match, as you can see that pretty clearly in the results.
- Thankfully it went longer than most recent TNMWA main events.
- Garrard again had the fans worked up into uncontrollable rage and anger.

Card rating: *** 1/2

Rick GarrardPosted on 09/03/05 at 05:15:24

Congrats to my tag team partner and your NEW TNMWA Heavyweight Champion. That one one mighty weak shove there partner. :)

Oh and Carlzilla, you're welcome.  Sorry about the excedrin headache there INS... or maybe I'm not.  Mwahahaha!

OOC: Uncontrollable rage! Woohoo! My character rules. I'll be the first to a heat of 10. And that's not easy.
Psymin1Posted on 09/03/05 at 06:49:28

Oh Carl, you and I both know I cut you open first, so don't even try any of that "big ref bump" shit.  This means I am STILL the King of the Tables Match!  And Ricky, don't think I forgot about you.  Congratulations on losing again, you should really start getting a nice bed laid out for you on the bottom of the roster and ratings, because you're gonna be there for the rest of your TNMWA career!

Again, an open challenge goes out to any shmuck that thinks he can step into the ring with "The King of the Table Match" Psymin!

americamamushiPosted on 09/03/05 at 07:33:32

Well, I didn't win the title, but that won't deter me.  I'm not even going to shoot for the belt right away.  Oh no.  For the next card I challenge Rick Garrard to a match for trying to steal my gimmick!  Finishers only!

Sorry about the excedrin headache there INS
That'll teach ya. :D
CarlzillaPosted on 09/03/05 at 08:41:38

OOC: If you make a challenge could you please put it in this format at the bottom of your post

I'm using Mamushi's challege to Rick as an example:
Rick Garrard vs. America Mamushi (finishers only match)

Thanks.
UnrightPosted on 09/03/05 at 08:44:32

Like the mighty Babe Ruth, I called that match. Both The Rick and I decimated the competition until we had no choice but to fight each other. It was a very close match. Not the parts with Phudjie and American Mamushi in them. The other part where two living legends of the TNMWA battled it out for 4 minutes and 7 seconds causing the fans to be so far on the edge of their seats that some actually fell forward and chipped their teeth on the back of the seat in front of them. The squeamish turned away in horror, and every true wrestling fan in the building that night realized that they would never see anything so magnificent ever again. And yes, some of them even wept.

Now the only souvenir I have to show for it is this piece of trash that they're trying to pass off as a belt. Look it at. It's hideous! A blind monkey could have designed a better looking belt by flinging his poo against the wall. This is supposed to represent wrestling perfection??  I guess it's the metaphor that counts.

Still, I must defend it, even though nobody here is on my level. My first defense shall be a ladder match. See, this will give my opponent the advantage because I barely want to even touch it, must less have to grab it for the victory. First person with more wins than losses to request a title match may have it. That's right, you have to be better than adequate.

OOC: Woot! I can't believe I won.. In a dominating fashion no less.

Unright vs ??? - Ladder match for Title

Eep.  Sorry, forgot  :-
ZedjaPosted on 09/03/05 at 09:57:03

OOC: Where was my match(es)??? I was supposed to be in that Blood and Splinters match as well as in a Texas Death Match with Jason. You did say the thing about the matches after the challenge was made...

On 09/03/05 at 08:44:32, Unright wrote:First person with more wins than losses to request a title match may have it. That's right, you have to be better than adequate.
Since I never got a match I'm still 3-3 which means the only challengers are Carlzilla and Rick Garrard... I do have 3-2 in singles matches though... But I'm not sure I'm allowed to challenge. But here it goes.

IC: Unright, you want a challenger, well you got one. Last time we fought you lost. You have yet to beat me, you smelly pig. You call the belt ugly? It takes one to know one. So what do you say? Want a new shot to try to defeat me, but with the belt on the line, or are you going to hide behind that more wins than losses crap?

As for Jason Morgan, you never answered my challenge, so now you are worth less than a maggot for me. You can take that match and stick it up your *BLEEP*.
CarlzillaPosted on 09/03/05 at 10:48:49

OOC: Sorry Zedja, I thought I got all the matches, looks like I missed a few things...hopefully this new challenge system works better and I won't miss anything in the future.

UnrightPosted on 09/03/05 at 22:53:58

Zedja....? Zedja, Zedja, Zedja.... *checks rolodex* I don't think I know of any... Ah! Here it is! Zedja. Hmm oh yes, the Tiger Mask wannabe. It looks like you did temporarily slow me down in my superfast rise to the top. The only thing that makes you is a speedbump.

Still... I do want to defend this title and you seem to barely meet the qualifications I set forth. This match is agreed upon. Prepare to become roadkill.

OOC: I think you were in the Blood & Splinters match. It does say it was a triangle match and usually if there a draw of any type the results never mention the third (or forth) participant.

Unright vs Zedja - Title Ladder Match
CarlzillaPosted on 09/03/05 at 23:18:49

OOC: I think you're right Unright. I remember that everyone on the roster was involved in at least one match, so Zedja must have been in the Blood and Splinters match.

IC: Psymin, I'm sick and tired of watching you throw hissy fits on the mic every night, I'm challenging you to an anger management match. If I win, your challenges will all start with please, you will be unable to raise your voice during your promos, and when a challenge you put forth is accepted you must  thank your opponent.

Psymin vs. Carlzilla (Anger Management Match)
ZedjaPosted on 09/03/05 at 23:19:56

OOC: Heh, you got good eyes... I guess Carlzilla has to go through the record of the match again as I'm not mentioned in the summary either ;)

EDIT: LMAO at Carlzilla's comment about his match.
Psymin1Posted on 09/04/05 at 04:43:15

An anger management match? Please! I go to anger management class every night I kick the SHIT OUT OF MY OPPONENT! But, Carlzilla, you want me, you got me. The only thing I see here in your little challenge, however, is what happens if YOU win. The problem here, is that one, your have NO CHANCE of winning. And two, what happens when I win?

Oooohh, ooohhh, oooooh.....I KNOW, I KNOW!! PICK ME!

Ok, you Psymin, Tell us what happens when I Wins?

Well, you see, When Psymin wins, Carlzilla has to face you on Show 7 in PSYMIN'S MATCH!

A TABLES MATCH!

So, there ya have it Carlzilla. That's the stipulations. I'll Assume you accept unless you say different.

"The King of the Tables Match" Psymin versus Carlzilla (Anger Management Match)

~Psymin
CarlzillaPosted on 09/04/05 at 05:27:54

Fine Psymin, I'll accept whatever stipulations you want to add. You'd better check out some of those childrens books about manners from your libarary, because you're gonna have to brush up on your ettiqute after you loose our encounter.
Rick GarrardPosted on 09/04/05 at 06:13:10

Psymin, Psymin, Psymin... You know... how soon you forget.  You agreed to a Tables Match inside a steel cage against me for Show #6.  Back after Show #4 I do believe it was.  So now you are trying to duck me by facing Carlzilla?  That's okay, I think watching the Zilla put you into Anger Management will be funny.  Not funny in a "ha ha" sort of way, but funny in a "Zilla's gonna own you" way.

That having been said, Mamushi... you bring your Excedrin and I'll give you a headache should you accept a match against me since Psymin Psays has decided to pull back on a deal that he already had made.  Speaking of deals... if you accept Mamushi...  I say we make it a spin the wheel, make the deal match between us.

And as for the team of myself and YOUR TNMWA Heavyweight Gold Foiled Tin Belt Toting Champion Unright, I'm thinking that he and I should probably try to offer a challenge to Mamushi and Phudjie for a tag team match, and if it's okay with my partner, I think we should give them something to think about by making this a double elimination tag team match, where to be eliminated from the match, each person must lose TWO falls.
Psymin1Posted on 09/04/05 at 06:45:14

Well Ricky, when you're the best like I am, you sometimes forget about the little people who ask me to kick their pathetic asses...like yourself.  Oh well, life goes on.  But, if you would like, I have an idea:  When I beat Carlzilla at Show 6, he agreed to fight me in MY match, a tables match.  So, how about instead, When I win, it will be "The King of the Tables Match" Psymin versus "Who?" Carlzilla versus "The World's Greatest Jobber" Ricky Garrard in a Steel Cage Triangle Elimination Table Match!  What do you say, everyone in after I win in Show 6?  Comeon...I dare ya...take the challenge...and prepare to LOSE!

~Psymin
CarlzillaPosted on 09/04/05 at 07:46:51

If you can beat me I will accept any match you can throw at me Psymin, but I have a feeling you're going to have to make this challenge again, and be polite about it.
americamamushiPosted on 09/04/05 at 08:26:29

Rick, I accept your spin the wheel stip, and if Phudjie agrees to partner with me for the evening you've got your other match too.  Beware though, all the little Mamushiacs are all hyped up on pocky... with Pocky sticks in our corner... nothing can stop us!

America Mamushi vs. Rick Garrard (Spin the Wheel, Make the Deal Match)

America Mamushi & Phudjie vs. Rick Garrard & Unright (Double Elimination Tag Match, if Phudjie & Unright accept)

Feels like The Rick & I have already won this match...

Oh wait, no.. That was when I won the title.

America Mamushi & Phudjie vs Rick Garrard & Unright (Double Elimination - if Pudgy accepts)
phudjiePosted on 09/04/05 at 23:22:59

- noted and accepted -
Psymin1Posted on 09/09/05 at 00:52:57

The "King of the Tables Match" is getting VERY antsy.  I'm ready to...EXPLODE!  I Need to kick the shit out of someone!  What's up Carlzilla...you scared?  Fight me already, you bitch.  I'm sick of waiting for you to grow balls 'cause it'll never happen!

(OOC: Just wondering whats up?  TNMWA is still on, right?)

~Psymin
CarlzillaPosted on 09/09/05 at 06:28:05

Yep, fridays will be the day that the new cards are posted generally.
americamamushiPosted on 09/09/05 at 08:33:56

I'd like to extend an open challenge along with my tag team match to anyone willing to accept.  Submission Match.
Psymin1Posted on 09/09/05 at 16:24:36

You want a submission match? You got it! That is if your man enough to step up to the challenge.

~Psymin

"The King of the Tables Match" Psymin vs. America Mamushi- Submission Match (If Mamushi wants to fight me)
americamamushiPosted on 09/09/05 at 21:13:22

I said anybody and I mean anybody.  The Mamushiacs don't fear a single soul in the TNMWA!

Psymin vs. America Mamushi (Submission Match) - Confirmed

OOC: lol, just realized I put myself in three matches. :)  Hope my body holds out during the night! :D
ZedjaPosted on 09/09/05 at 22:30:48

OOC: I didn't want anything to remove my chances of winning the title which is why I didn't accept any other matches. Unright on the other hand is in the tag team match and I hope that will gain me some advantage.
Rick GarrardPosted on 09/10/05 at 04:51:10

Don't you worry about Unright's condition in your title match, Zedja, I will do all the work in our tag team match tonight, just so Unright can give you a weak shove and take a big win.
ZedjaPosted on 09/10/05 at 10:30:24

OOC: What I said wasn't in character so your comment came out of thin air ;)
Rick GarrardPosted on 09/10/05 at 15:35:47

OOC:  You mean that OOC Doesn't mean you are channeling the "Outstanding" Oliver Copp?  ;)  I kinda missed the whole OOC thing, seeing how Mr. Non-Productivity and all-around flame baiter Anubis had me distracted when I posted that.
ZedjaPosted on 09/10/05 at 20:25:21

OOC: Easily done. I'm more worried about the superlong friday that has effected parts of the US ;)
CarlzillaPosted on 09/12/05 at 01:41:27

hahaha sorry. I was out this weekend on an unexpected trip.

I'll sim up the card soon.

Man...I'm bad at being punctual.
ZedjaPosted on 09/19/05 at 15:44:43

Yes you are.... Two weeks now without a new card.

EDIT: Happy birthday btw.
CarlzillaPosted on 09/20/05 at 09:03:12

Thanks Zedja.

I don't really have a lot of free time on my hands.

I'm going to make the wrestler exports public and maybe someone could take over or we could all take turn running the cards or something...

Let me know if you think this would be a good idea.

Sorry again, I'm just swamped with stuff...
ZedjaPosted on 09/22/05 at 08:07:30

I would, but at the moment I don't have internet at home since I'm replacing my computer with a new one (neither is at home)
CarlzillaPosted on 09/22/05 at 10:41:50

Ok so some changes are in place and should be cleared up next week.

Sorry to everyone for being a flake, but when I made the offer to reopen this I had a lot more time on my hands than I do currently.

I'm not quiting just stepping down as booker...my last card should be up Monday and from then on out there's a new guy in charge.
