- Morgan gets revenge on Carlzilla by scoring a pinfall over him.
- Phudjie and Morgan are the last two in the ring.
- They battle for a few minutes and Phudjie comes out of nowhere with a flying shoulderblock for a suprise win.

Card rating: ** 1/2

Match observations:
America Mamushi, Rick Garrard, Phudjie, and Unright will be battling it out for the TNMWA Heavyweight Title.

I'd say that Phudjie was the MVP this card scoring two pinfalls and a countout win.

I think I need to adjust the health regeneration setting in TweakCirc so that the short matches stop happening.

Next card should be up Wednesday or Thursday.
Psymin1Posted on 08/21/05 at 02:25:15

OOC: Yeah. thats the only thing that's not great about this, is the short matches.  Oh, besides the fact that I can only win one match out of three in a night...that sucks too.  Oh well.

IC: Look at that Ricky, I may have only won 1 match tonight, but it was the most important one of the night, as  I sent your weak, pathetic, worthless body flying through a table!  Looks like we are all tied up in singles matches against each other at one a piece...I guess that means that someday we'll have to have the third match to decide who is better at one-on-one.  Tag pins don't count because I keep getting stuck with shit that  can't help me out of a small, little, bind.  Anyway, enough about you right now, I can see your going to be busy next show with your little Heavyweight Title Match bullshit.  So, I am making an open challenge to anyone on the roster to a match next show.  And, if you want to add some stupid ass stipulation, just speak up, because it doesnt matter how I have to beat you, or how many times I have to beat you, cuz the fact is I WILL BEAT YOU!

americamamushiPosted on 08/21/05 at 06:37:08

OOC: Is the heavyweight title match at the next show?

IC: Zedja.  You put up a valiant effort.  Don't feel bad about being tired.  It would've ended the same anyway.  And don't think I've forgotten about you Jason.  Once me and all my little Mamushiacs win the title none other than you my friend, will get beaten in my first title defense.
CarlzillaPosted on 08/21/05 at 06:38:31

[OOC:]Yep. You can still make challenges if you aren't involved in the title match, but try not to challenge the title match guys.

rebelins313Posted on 08/21/05 at 06:51:02

*sighs* So far my tenure here in TNMWA hasn't been what I would have expected.  I have underperformed so far but will not give up until I'm at the top.  With the big title match coming up I'd like to challenge one of the few men I respect in this federation...Carlzilla.  Although he may have an unorthodox style and isn't the most beloved wrestler on the roster I respect the fact that he actually _WRESTLES_.  If you're ready to get a fight brought to you Carlzilla I think we can really put together a barnburner.  Of course, you could always run scared, I'll be awaiting a reply.

ZedjaPosted on 08/21/05 at 07:05:21

OOC: Hey, I lost 2 matches and got eliminated first in the battle Royal. Heh, Garrard missing his move and craching through the table by mistake would have been worth seeing IRL.

IC: Tonight was not a good night for me. I lost in the first match and never really recovered for the match against Mamushi. Not only that, but I felt it all through to the Battle Royal. I guess the strain of fighting two matches a night to give the public something worthwhile to look at has really taken it's toll. That's why I'm only going to wrestle one match next week.

So, Jason, will you stick to the match you set up, the Texas Death Match or do you want out? You eliminated me from the Battle Royal, which put fuel into the fire. I will take you down!
phudjiePosted on 08/21/05 at 11:16:58

.....yeah baby - fear the mighty hiptoss & fearsome flying shoulderblock.....

No, you got that wrong Psymin, I sent myself through the table and in quick fashion.  All you did was act like a coward and  not take the 450 splash on a table that we had already proven wouldn't break.  As for the other so called MVPs of the night, I'm not just in the match cause I beat up chumps like Psymin week after week.  I'm in the title match, because I am the hardest hitting, toughest guy you'll ever face in a match.

Zedja said:
"OOC: Hey, I lost 2 matches and got eliminated first in the battle Royal. Heh, Garrard missing his move and craching through the table by mistake would have been worth seeing IRL."

OOC: I think missing a 450 through a table would probably hurt.  But then again, we did have the toughest table in wrestling in the match with us.
ZedjaPosted on 08/21/05 at 12:31:11

OOC: I meant that seeing a wrestler missing a 450 and go through the table would probably make good television. Especially if it was done with a heel. And I see I made a stupid typo.. I never learn... Don't make posts before you fully wake up :D

Y'know Rick... You are the hardest hitting, toughest SOB in TNMWA. But I'm the most sadistic and mentally unbalanced frrrreak! in TNMWA.

This Four Way Heavyweight Match... It's not really a match per say. It's going to be a massacre. When the Rick and I are done, there will be a pile of mangled limbs and broken body parts that used to be Pudjie and Mamushi. The Rick and I will then turn to each other and each bring down our fists three times. After Rock crushes Scissors one of us will go for the pin and become the TNMWA champ.

Y'see, it doesn't really matter which one of us wins. We will continue our reign of terror and there's nothing anybody can do about it.

Oh, and Carlzilla. I didn't forget about our little stipulation that the winner books the loser's match. You, Psymin and Zedja are going to go at it in an Elimination Blood and Splinters Match. You can only eliminate your opponents by either making them bleed, or putting them trough a table. If and when Psymin and Zedja accept the match then the carnage will begin.

OOC: Carlzilla, please create a gimmick match with no special objects, but the match can only end in First Blood or being put through a table. If only one of Zedja or Psymin accept, then make it a single match. If neither, then I guess it becomes an open challenge.

OOC (2): After the 5th card, could you display the rankings?
Psymin1Posted on 08/21/05 at 17:08:12

Unright, you want to make some stupid ass Blood and Splinters match with me in it?  I already beat the living hell out of one jackass named Ricky in a Table match, so what the hell makes you think I, THE KING OF TABLE MATCHES, wont kick the living shit out of the other two?!?  Needless to say, I ACCEPT!

...Prepare to lose...

ZedjaPosted on 08/21/05 at 17:42:37

OOC: It would be good to know if anybody made any pins before the referee woke up in my match against Carlzilla. Since I don't know it at this time I'm going to do a multiple answer.

The first will be if I pinned Carlzilla during the match, but there wasn't any referee to count, and the second is if we just brawled and his pin on me was the first after the referee go knocked out.

IC:
[1]
Unright: So you want me to go up against Carlzilla again. I would love to face him again, since I'm positive he payed off the referee to just lie there until the right time came for him to count me out.

Earlier I stated that I would only be in one match next week, and that match would be the Texas Death Match against Jason Morgan. That in itself is a tough match to be in. Until now I've been in two matches and on one occation even more just to please the audience. So let's make the audience deside if they want me in that match.

[2]
Unright: So you want me to go up against Carlzilla again. I would love to face him again, since so far he is the only opponent who has cleanly beaten me in a singles match.

I mean, I know I lost against Mamushi as well, but he was fresh and I had already fought a match. The odds weren't in my favor. I would have loved to have faced Mamushi first since it mattered more.

But back to the point. Earlier I stated that I would only be in one match next week, and that match would be the Texas Death Match against Jason Morgan. That in itself is a tough match to be in. Until now I've been in two matches and on one occation even more just to please the audience. So let's make the audience deside if they want me in that match.

OOC: I would love to see comments from people who isn't in this thing (yet) but are still reading. However if not I guess I'll be in this match if my wrestlers heat is 7 or above.

Also.. I have kept track of the ranking up to card 3 (will enter card 4 tomorrow). I've put in wins-draws-losses in three categories. Singles, Tag and Special (3 or more wrestlers, not counting regular Tag) and of course how many matches and a total.

OOC:  I agree, especially when it's a heel with the heat like my TNM character seems to be drawing.  Nothing better than to see a mega-heel come crashing down and making it hurt inside.  I do have to point out that this version of the TNMWA continues the "tables tougher than the wrestlers" tradition that several of the other TNMWA versions have had.

Ya know Unright, there is one thing about us playing rock paper scissors that we can both guarantee for our legends of fans here in the TNMWA... and that is that we are both gonna try to cheat and bring in other items than rock paper and scissors.  Like keyboards, booking sheets, atomic fireballs (the candy kind of course).. ya know the usual items you'd cheat to win with.  And like you said, no matter which of wins.. and we will win... we will still continue our reign of tag team terror on the TNMWA.

IC:
You didn't beat me in that match, I beat myself, you snivelling twit.  The only way you can beat me is by showing cowardice in a match involving tables.  So I am proposing that on card #6 after I win *MY* TNMWA Title again, which by the way, I still have in my possession since TiLoBrown's TNMWA closed down, that you and Psymin have a match where you can't run from me... a match that involves a steel cage.  And a match that involves a table inside the cage.  Yes that's right... A Table Match inside the really shiny and new TNMWA steel cage that I plan on making a bloody crimson mess with your carcass.  Now how do you like them titles?  Arriba Chico Santana!

Rick Garrard Says:
You didn't beat me in that match, I beat myself, you snivelling twit.
God damn Ricky, will you stop whining like a little bitch already?  I really don't care if you masturbate, the point is I won and therefore am THE TABLES KING!  And as for your challenge, a Steel Cage Tables match?  Please, my grandmother wants to accept that match because even SHE knows how weak and pathetic you are!  But, unfortunately, the doctors say that she's not fit to wrestle anymore, so I guess I'll have to throw your fat ass through a table on card 6 also.  And seriously, Ricky, dont tell us about your masturbation problems anymore, seriously, no one wants to hear it.  Thanks buddy, really appreciate it.

Rick GarrardPosted on 08/21/05 at 23:28:47

OOC:  can we get a listing of who's face and who's heel around here?  Cause my character is a mega-heel, who's main focus in his promos is to piss people off without being offensive by using Nick Bockwinkle like comments, i.e. usage of vocabulary not normally used by a wrestler.  And I'm guessing Psymin just cut a scathing heelish promo there because he's one mightily pissed off face.  :)

In addition to the who's who list of heel and face, can we also get a small bit of background info on each character?
ZedjaPosted on 08/21/05 at 23:43:04

OOC: Carlzilla made this post where you can see who's a face or heel.
http://www.tnm7.de/cgi-bin/yabb/YaBB.cgi?board=TNMWA;action=display;num=1123222480 Also, check the first card where the current faces (with the exception on Rebel INS) got squashed by the heels.

As for my wrestler, he has the nickname "The White Tiger" because he fights behind a White Tiger Mask. As far as background information, he's from parts unknown and has an initial style similar to Tajiri. As for promos. I'm using (or trying to use) technique similar to Jerichos and John Cenas. Even though they are faces (or were in Jerichos case), they are good at making the heels get steaming mad. As far as Jericho goes, he has a way of saying very heelish things despite being a face.

As a fun tidbit that didn't have anything to do with why Zedja is a White Tiger, I once wanted to create a thai-boxer in a story, named Whyte and who's nickname was "Whyte Thai-Grr". That was many years ago though. Almost half my life... Which makes it about 14-15 years ago now..
CarlzillaPosted on 08/22/05 at 01:33:33

[OOC:]Zedja, yes, there where pins by both me and you before the ref woke up, I don't know how I neglected to mention that in the highlights...sorry!

also if you could do me a huge favor, at the botom of any post where you make a challenge could you put the challenge without any extra text ie:

Rick Garrard vs. Psymin (Tables Match)

that way it makes it much easier to figure out matches, since I can do quick glances over the thread when setting up the card in TNM

I made the blood and splinters match, and I'll post the ratings after the next card.

[IC:]
RebelINS, since Zedja and Psymin are not even in the same league as me, I think I can squeeze an ass beating in for you as well. No gimmicks, no stipulations, just wrestling.

Psymin, I don't even know what your deal is, king of the table match...you rolled off the friggin' table, Garrard did all of the actual breaking. Maybe you should nickname yourself Psymin "The Jetlagged", I mean you feel asleep in an airplane spin and the ref had to stop the match, now you think you can beat me in a tables match...man I'm laughing on the inside.

Zedja, if you think I'd rough you up to bad to be in the elimination match then fine, don't be in it. I could have a decent match with a wet mop I'm so damn good, I don't need to have a [sarcasm]"classy"[/sarcasm] oppoent such as yourself to be the top performer in the TNMWA.

Everyone else, I'm better than you.

Carlzilla has left the messageboard!
CarlzillaPosted on 08/22/05 at 01:45:18

Here's everyones heat rating just so they know how much the crowd loves or hates them.

America Mamushi - 5
Carlzilla - 5
Jason Morgan - 6
Phudjie - 5
Psymin - 5
RebelINS - 5
Rick Garrard - 9
Unright - 7
Zedja - 5

Here's the overall ratings so far (as calculated by the Weight Class Wizard)

1. Carlzilla                       5 - 2 - 0
2. Unright                        5 - 2 - 0
3. Rick Garrard                4 - 2 - 0
4. Zedja                          3 - 3 - 0
5. Jason Morgan             2 - 3 - 0
6. Phudjie                       2 - 3 - 0
7. America Mamushi        2 - 4 - 0
8. Psymin                        2 - 4 - 0
9. RebelINS                     0 - 2 - 0

Here's a description of Carlzilla
He's kinda like Low-Ki in that he's not a huge guy, but he brings a lot of fight to the ring. He's supposed to fit into the ROH/Puroresu feel of wrestling where it's all about the wrestling and not the gimmicks. He is a pretty big Kaiju (giant monsters from japan.) fan, which is where the special move names come from. As far as promo's are concerned I'm just making him a conceeded and pompous ass. Maybe when I have time I'll get a KOC II screenshot up of Carlzilla from that game.
ZedjaPosted on 08/22/05 at 01:51:22

Yes, you would have a decent match with a wet mop, but the end result would be the mop beating your ass. I think I just changed my mind. I'll be in that match. And I will put you through a table or die trying.

OOC: Nice... I'm the top face... Not that it matters much when we have 3 heels higher on the list. But at least nobody is undefeated.
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/22/05 at 01:59:48

OOC:  Apparently I'm not the winningest heel, but I sure am the most over heel based on the heat rating.  from 5 to 9 in a matter of 4 cards... now THAT's getting over!
CarlzillaPosted on 08/22/05 at 02:01:50

[OOC:]They love to hate you Rick.
rebelins313Posted on 08/22/05 at 02:29:04

OOC:  How do you get those heat ratings anyway?
CarlzillaPosted on 08/22/05 at 02:35:45

I use Tweakcirc.
ZedjaPosted on 08/22/05 at 09:06:34

OOC: I was trying to put up my current rankings but the tables function doesn't seem to work in this part of the forum.... Anyway.

Here's my current ranking. The first column is how many matches the wrestler has been in. The next three are W-D-L for singles matches. The three after that are W-D-L for normal tag matches. The following three are W-D-L for speciality matches. And the last three is the total W-D-L.

1      Carlzilla      9      4      0      1      0      0      1      2      0      1      6      0      3
2      Unright      8      3      0      1      2      0      0      1      0      1      6      0      2
3      Rick Garrard      8      2      0      2      2      0      0      2      0      0      6      0      2
4      Phudjie      8      1      0      3      1      0      0      2      0      1      4      0      4

7      Jason Morgan      7      1      0      3      1      0      0      0      0      2      2      0      5
8      Psymin      8      2      0      2      0      0      2      0      0      2      2      0      6
9      Rebel INS      3      0      0      1      0      0      1      0      0      1      0      0      3

Hey Garrard, Unright and Phudjie...

*points to several stacks of boxes behind him that all read "Excedrin"*

I figure the three of you will have some pretty bad headaches after our match.  Not Excedrin Headache #129, not excedrin headache #85, Excedrin Headache # 616.  Just a little present from me to you.
americamamushiPosted on 08/27/05 at 09:34:02

no card yet?  you're startin' to worry me here Carlzilla :)
CarlzillaPosted on 08/27/05 at 22:55:13

I know I know...I'm lagging way behind...I'm really sorry, It'll be up tonight, I'm not sure when yet but my girlfriend starts her new job tonight and I'll have tons of free time while she's at work since I have the night off...sorry again guys.
americamamushiPosted on 08/27/05 at 23:41:41

Oh, i don't mind it being late or stuff coming up IRL.  I just wanted to make sure that the new TNMWA wasn't going the way of the dodo :D  Please don't feel rushed to get something out on my account :)
UnrightPosted on 09/01/05 at 04:06:45

Grr.. I'm gonna win!

ooc - Is this still going?
CarlzillaPosted on 09/01/05 at 07:05:51

I'm not really sure. With only 9 people participating it's real hard to keep things fresh and interesting. I was hoping that after a few cards that some new people would join up, but that didn't happen.

If everyone still wants it to happen I can still sim cards, but unless more people join, it's not really going to be that fun (IMO).
americamamushiPosted on 09/01/05 at 07:20:12

well, i guess if TNMWA ends up stopping for a while you could all migrate over to my MMA version of the TNMWA. :)

Seriously though, I'll participate no matter how many people are involved.  I'll even made additional exports if that'll help.
Rick GarrardPosted on 09/01/05 at 07:29:16

It's a double edged sword.  If you stop posting new cards because you only have 9 people, no one will want to join in addition to what we have.  And we've only had 4 cards.  But if you keep posting and after a month we still only have 9 people, then we are pretty much goozled.
ZedjaPosted on 09/01/05 at 07:59:55

I agree with Rick, I mean have anyone tried PM'ing those who signed up for this but never sent an export??

I for one can do an additional export if needed.
CarlzillaPosted on 09/01/05 at 10:49:22

Alrighty then, I'll sim up the card on friday...my next day off.

I will keep going and we'll see where we end up.
Psymin1Posted on 09/01/05 at 23:08:43

Yeah, I could also make some exports if we just want to add to the roster.  Either way, I hope this thing keeps up, its pretty fun so far.
