Card rating: ** 1/2

I'd say it was a pretty good first card for only having 8 guys in the fed right now.

Garrard has earned a spot in the upcoming 4 man title battle royal for being tonights MVP, with a singles win and half the eliminations in the elimination match.

Garrard was also involved in the match of the night, as he and Psymin really beat the hell out of one another. I'm sure Psymin is going to want some kinda revenge...so I'm sure you'll see these two in the ring again.

Carlzilla and Mamushi get special notice for being the only match the entire night without a single chairshot or hardcore spot. Kudos to them.

That's all for this time. Feel free to make challenges and the like for the next card which will be held on Wednesday.

[PS Also there is always room to join so if you liked what you read and want to be a part of the action see the 'anyone interested in re-opening this' thread for the new rules and submission e-mail address.]
JustinPosted on 08/09/05 at 02:54:32

Where do you want us to make challenges?

I know it sounds weird but I'm alittle new to e-feds.
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/09/05 at 03:00:43

Looks like I am starting off right where I left off in the last incarnation of the TNMWA.  I must say the Double Tough Double Up is quite the finisher.  And who knew that Zedja was such a mark for atomic fireballs (the candy kind)?  ;)

Psymin, I challenge you to a rematch.  And as for Zedja, I challenge you as well, this time will you go for the candy again?
UnrightPosted on 08/09/05 at 03:58:43

I'd like to challenge America Mamushi to a Fight It Out match.

Also, I'd like to know if The Rick would like to team up with me against Psymin and a partner of his choice. Stips to be decided by The Rick.
JustinPosted on 08/09/05 at 04:00:10

I'm gonna challenge Carlzilla since he eliminated me. BUt I haven't forgotten about Unright putting me down in the very fdirst show of the new era.

We will meet again.
Rick GarrardPosted on 08/09/05 at 04:10:58

Sure unright, I'll team with you, if Psymin accepts the match, and we'll make it a match must end with a wrestler's finisher match.
CarlzillaPosted on 08/09/05 at 04:20:59

You're on Morgan! I'm gonna rough you up.
ZedjaPosted on 08/09/05 at 08:49:45

Gerrard, you are on!

If Psymin accepts the challenge, I'll gladly be his partner.

But if we win, I want you one on one, since you had to resort to cheating to eliminate me.

I gather that Phudjie would like a rematch as well.
americamamushiPosted on 08/09/05 at 09:16:22

Unright, I accept your challenge and if you want a Fight it Out match, so be it.  I know you paid that ref off to make a fast count in the elimination match.  Obviously you didn't pay him enough.  And the reason I agree to the stip is I blame you specifically for Rick getting the fall on me.  You're actions were the downfall of the Greatest thing since fried sushi and the fans of TMNWA know it. :)

Also, since I lost to Carlzilla in my debut most are probably thinking that I'll want to challenge him to redeem myself.  On the contrary.  Since we were the only ones to put on a great showing without the need for chairs and hardcore spots I'd like to break the traditional face-heel barrier and invite him to team with me out of respect for one night only at the next show against any (and all if need be) comers.
CarlzillaPosted on 08/09/05 at 09:55:19

Mamushi, while I respect your skills in the ring, I've set my sights on Jason Morgan, and you'd just hold me back from giving him the beating that he asked for.

I will however make sure to watch your back as we seem to be the only fighters here worth a damn when it comes to pure ability, and it would be a shame for something to happen to you before the TNMWA World Title match that we all know we are both destined for.

TNMWA - Show 2 Preview
Zedja vs. Rick Garrard (Garrard had to cheat to get the fall last time, will Garrard be able to fend off an angry Zedja this time around? Garrard and Unright have seemingly stuck a deal, how will this play into the match?)

Carlzilla vs. Jason Morgan (Morgan is pissed about being eliminated from the elimination match by Zilla. Morgan also called out Unright, saying he hasn't forgoten about his loss during their singles match. Will Unright answer the call and interject himself in this one? Will Morgan be able to avenge his elimination, or will Carlzilla out wrestle Morgan for a second time?)

America Mamushi vs. Unright [Fight It Out Match] (Unright showed the world his ruthlessness when he cold cocked Jason Morgan with brass knuckles in the first TNMWA match of the new era. Mamushi showed his sheer wrestling ability in a classic match with Carlzilla. Which style will overcome, sheer brutality or sheer technique? Will Jason Morgan's threat of revenge play into the match?)

Psymin vs. Phudjie (Psymin owned him for a short time in the elimination match, will Phudjie be show more strength this time around? [ooc: got no build up to this one sorry guys...just trying to round out the singles matches for this card...])

Rick Garrard and Unright vs. Zedja and Psymin (Garrard is not on the friends list of either of these two guys...nor is Unright...should be a slobberknocker...)

America Mamushi and Carlzilla vs. Jason Morgan and Phudjie (will either of these teams be able to get along well enough to pick up a win? Mamushi and Carlzilla seem to have some mutal respect for one another...how about Phudjie and Morgan?)

All this and more coming to you this Wednesday, be sure not to miss it!
phudjiePosted on 08/09/05 at 12:49:46

---oh - you gather correctly Zedja---fear the Mongolian Sleeperhold - I'll eat your babies or something - possibly dipped in Phudge with sprinkles or something---
ZedjaPosted on 08/09/05 at 13:09:42

If the Tag Team with me and Psymin against Unright and Garrard becomes official I can always face you in a singles rematch afterwards.

But if the current card stands it looks like I'm up against Garrard this time. You just have to wait.
Psymin1Posted on 08/09/05 at 15:32:03

If Rick and Unright want Zedja and I, they got us!  But, I still want another chance to kick Ricks ass one-on-one also, but I guess that'll have to wait till the following week, seeing as he's having another singles match this week.  I will warn that you should watch your back during your match with Zedja though...

ZedjaPosted on 08/09/05 at 16:08:29

I can let you have Garrard in a singles match, and just face him in our tag-team match. I can take him on one on one next week. I can do a rematch with Phudjie instead. That's up to the GM to deside though.
americamamushiPosted on 08/09/05 at 19:47:42

Unright, Wednesday I'm gonna give you a lesson in wrestling.  Even though it is a match right up your alley, technique will reign supreme.
CarlzillaPosted on 08/09/05 at 23:30:46

[Out of character]
I'd like to not have any direct rematches from the first card. I promise that everyone will get their revenge. It's just that Rick Garrard has made himself a few enemies, which makes match scheduling a little tricky.

You'll have plenty of time to give me a lesson in wrestling in your dreams AFTER I KNOCK YOU OUT COLD WITH A VICIOUS CHAIRSHOT!!

This is going to be a Fight It Out Match which means you better leave your hippity-flipity bow-before-each-move crap behind BECAUSE I'M GOING TO POUND YOUR FACE IN WITH OR WITHOUT KNUX!!

Also, to Psymin and Zedja you guys are showing a lot of pluck and earnestness by accepting this tag challenge, AFTER WE BEAT YOU TO DEATH I'LL BE SURE TO MENTION THIS ON YOUR TOMBSTONES!!

The Rick is one of the toughest SOBs in the business and I PERSONALLY HAVE THE ABILITY TO END YOUR MISERABLE LIVES WHENEVER I WANT. This match will end after either a Weak Shove or the Double Tough Double Up. OR MAYBE WE'LL FEEL PARTICULARLY SADISTIC AND HIT YOUR ASSES WITH THE DOUBLE TOUGH WEAK SHOVE!!

/(ooc - With apologies to Devaccio Pola)
//(ooc - By fried sushi, you don't mean sushi with tempura in it? Cause that stuff rules, especially with some eel sauce. Yum!)
ZedjaPosted on 08/10/05 at 07:48:50

How old are you? Have you just hit puberty? I mean your voice just keeps changing tones.

Also, are you on drugs, because you are clearly mistaken about who will win the match.
CarlzillaPosted on 08/10/05 at 14:06:35

[OOC:] I found a way to work both tag team deals in...Mamushi's partnership offer to me and Garrard and Unright vs. Zedja and Psymin. This card looks kinda good...we'll have to see...I should have it posted by about 7pm my time...which is 6pm pacific and 9pm eastern...
americamamushiPosted on 08/10/05 at 19:46:10

OCC: 9pm eastern?!  Damn you mountain time zone! *shakes fist in that general direction* :D
