Ah, excellent.  Not only do I defeat Phudgie, but I avenge my earleir unjust loss to Oliver Copp with a pinfall of my own.  The Tag Team division had better learn to fear the Double Really Big Clothesline, Also of Doom, for it's quickly going to become the most lethal tag team move in history!  Step aside, Doomsday Device, out of the way Dudley Death Drop, there's a new Murder Move in Town!

Phantom: How the hell did I get pinned by the figure four in 28 seconds? I've never seen a count that fast. I demand an investigation into that ref on charges that he doesn't like masked men.

Question, is that a bug with the figure-four? I noticed
the same thing in my circuit

There is a bug in TNM at present where all submission moves that can cause pinfalls will succeed 100% of the time at the first time it's checked.  The Figure-Four is the most common move that has this as something that can happen, so this is called the Figure Four Bug.  I'm not sure whether Oliver is going to fix the problem or not in the patch next month.

It's not a bug per se... you just have to adjust the probability of it happening to your likings via TweakCirc SE...

Which I did, its set at like 5000 :)

Respectfully, I've set the probability of it happening as high as 500 (50 is normal, so this should be 1/10 as likely), and it still always results in a pinfall the first time it is checked. Adjusting the value in Tweakcirc SE seems to change the chance of a pinfall attempt occurring, not the chance of an attempt resulting in a successful pin. The Tweakcirc bit is working perfectly normally. It's the actual resolution of the attempts that seems to be bugged at present. In FE, it worked just fine - pinfall attempts were common, but an actual pinfall was rare unless it was used as a finisher. At present, Tweakcirc seems to be allowing us to adjust the probability of a 100% guaranteed successful pinfall attempt happening, which tends to give wrestlers using moves that check for this a huge advantage.

In other words, normal pinfall checks look like this:

Chance of move resulting in a pinfall attempt if opponent is on mat (some moves are 100%) -> Chance of successful pinfall based on remaining health & whether move was a finisher or finisher-like.

Pinfall in submission checks look like this:

Chance of move resulting in pinfall attempt (adjustable) -> 100% Guarangeed Pinfall

If I'm misunderstanding you and that's actually how the SE adjustable pinfall in submission seed is supposed to work, then I apologise. If it's not, however, then there's got to be something loose somewhere in the program Because in 9 months or so, I've never seen anybody kick out of one of those attempts, and the chances of myself and several others observing that through sheer happenstance must be on the order of billions to one.

If that is indeed how it's set up, however, then perhaps you would consider adding a new field in the Finisher Database to give the same lethality to non-submission moves: Murder Move. If checked, nobody will kick out of the move. Ever. If they're booked to win the match, the victim will always reverse out of it rather than take the hit. This would be sort of like The Undertaker's Tombstone in the early-mid 1990s WWF, the Tiger Driver, Jackhammer, etc. If your opponent hits it, you're done.

...

Oh dear.  This is all very off topic.

Er...  I'll get you, Oliver!
