Just making sure...there are no limits to the amount of points used when determining Work Rate, Charisma, etc?

I plan on making them realistic, but I was wondering if there was a certain total number we should stay under...
Oliver CoppPosted on 04/13/04 at 00:34:32

I'd recommend that everbody must have a sum of no more than 300 points for work rate, push, stamina and charisma combined.
Oliver CoppPosted on 04/13/04 at 00:35:42

Also: no foreign objects and no desperation moves!
TiLoBrownPosted on 04/13/04 at 04:08:26

Wish I would have read the point limit one before people started sending in their exports or atleast the guy I took over from told me them, but since people that sent in their exports already didn't have those limits on them neither should yours or anyone elses if they don't want them. So you can make those fields what ever you guys like.

As for the object and desperation moves...same thing, besides I like those they add a little something extra to the exports so those can stay as well. Copp, you can send in another export if you like.

Personally, I think the idea of a max total for the 4 attributes is a good idea.  Cause otherwise there's no reason NOT to have them.

Now a foreign object and a desperation move, those should stay just cause they add character. :)
JoshEnglemanPosted on 04/13/04 at 05:22:10

I agree with Lilla. You have to have a limit for the 4 catagories. Having every guy with 100 in each isn't very interesting. The foreign object/desperation move should stay, although I sent my export in without them.

I would definitely recommend not allowing desperation moves and foreign objects! I know the inner workings of the program. It would not be a good idea allowing for them because they would give those that use them a really unfair advantage that nothing else could even out.

Isn't that what Foreign Objects and desperation moves are meant to do? Maybe you should have to choose one or the other...

So what is the final word on what we can use as far as stats?  I want to send a wrestler in and don't want to screw stuff up too much.
TiLoBrownPosted on 04/14/04 at 16:30:31

You could send in your export now, if we decide to do away with them I'll just remove it.

Anyway, how about a compromise on desperation moves how about its ok to have them if they're illegal?
Oliver CoppPosted on 04/15/04 at 08:13:12

I'd think so. There has to be a downside with the upside. If they're not illegal, they only have a *giant* upside.
