WWE signs yet another ROH wrestler to their roster

WWE has just signed Chris Hero on principle just like they did with McGuinness and Danielson. Unlike Nigel and Bryan though, I feel that WWE would actually use Hero, and it's not like ROH did much with Chris anyway.

Jim Cornette has also returned to ROH and will be the executive producer for the HDnet shows.

Hero has since denied talking with the WWE.

Independent worker Chris Hero shot down rumors of WWE talks in a Twitter update Sunday morning: "I haven't spoken w/ WWE despite rumorrrz," wrote Hero.

Thank God.  Hero can do some interesting stuff, but his matches are terribly boring.

Cornette and Adam Pearce running the shows for RoH?  Hmm... are they are going .... OLD SCHOOL?

If this was 2005 I might be able to agree with you, but there is no way I'd call Hero boring anywhere in the past 3-4 years. He's incredibly athletic and his heel work during that period has been great. His new gimmick in ROH  is pretty awesome, too.

I would imagine he'll stick around for a while as there are still things for him to do where he is. Of anyone in ROH who isn't a heel (his new gimmick has him as a tweener) I'd say he has the best shot of being the next guy to get the belt.
