Monday Night War 2.0

Isn't gonna happen... the Impact on Jan 4 is a 1 time thing & TNA will be back on Thursday Jan 7 with a replay of the Monday show... much like Nitro was doing for awhile with the replay right after it went off. So why even watch it live?

It's an odd decision, it's true BUT!

Remember that there are ALWAYS people who have to be first in line, or stay up through a midnight opening, or have/see/do something as soon as it's available.

Those 25-30 wrestling fans will watch the live NOTro.

(And of course the people in attendance)

Actually, they are going to run these Monday shows more than once. I want to say the frequency is quarterly but it could be more frequent. I guess it depends on the ratings. If they use this Monday's rating as a barometer, they might never have another show on Monday because I'm pretty sure Bret Hart's return will trump Hogan.

I know had I the choice, I would be watching Raw over TNA on Monday ... to me WWE has made it a much bigger deal that Bret is back than Hogan ... Hogan always surfaces every couple of years to remind us of who he is ... Bret hasn't been seen regularly for almost 10 years ... this is special ... it is news ... its explosive ...

meanwhile, Hogan's back, again, to self promote and remind us that he is "the greatest" ... its old, its tired ... brother ...

This, exactly.

Hogan's been on major WWE PPVs in the past couple of years, he's had a realitiy show, he's in the news (not for the best of reasons, but...).

Bret's name gets thrown around one or twice, he does a DVD, and the Hall of Fame, and..... That's IT.

I really hope the WWE doesn't screw this up. They did a wonderful job on Monday making me want to tune on Monday. This is really the last big money angle out there for McMahon.

Last big money angle til they can work Rock or Austin in again
