What the hell are TNA Thinking?

Drunken FoolPosted on 10/27/09 at 01:04:47

Pushing Nigel right away as a main eventer? Don't get me wrong, Nigel's a great wrestler, but like the WWE a good portion of TNA's fans are casual fans who have no idea who Nigel McGuinness (oh Sorry, Desmond Wolfe) is. I mean name one guy from the indies that got pushed into the main event of a major company that didn't fizzle because nobody even heard of him? OK, maybe The Giant/Big Show in WCW, but other than him, I can't really name anyone. If that was an established mainstream star such as Randy Orton making his TNA debut, I could understand the logic of it, but ROH, while it has a cult following, it's mostly the IWC that even know about the company. If you ask a casual fan about ROH or any other indy fed, they would probably think it's a new strain of the flu or something.

Re: ... are TNA Thinking?
I had a long drawn out reply, then I figured a simple title quote was more than enough ;->

A  better what were they thinking question is on the signing of Hulk Hogan
PulsarPosted on 10/28/09 at 03:34:32

Oh, and don't forget Bischoff too
ZedjaPosted on 10/28/09 at 20:46:18

And possibly Ric Flair.

And it seems Hogan to has more creative control than Dixie Carter

So when does the Mean Street Posse show up in TNA?

Never? Since they weren't an idea of Hogans or Bischoff.

And possibly Randy Savage.. Who has reportedly been talking with Hogan again.

Fix'd

Arquette is reportedly set to be hosting a Monday Night Raw in the near future.  Nice try.

David Arquette showing up in your wrestling promotion is not a good sign.
Snabbit888Posted on 10/31/09 at 08:25:56

I honestly think David Arquette hosting RAW would kick ass.  Especially if he was a heel for it.  Strutting around, gloating about being a former World champion.  It could lead to some good stuff, honestly.
