Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer broke the story last week that Shelly Martinez (best known as former ECW Vixen "Ariel") has agreed to do a porn movie for "Platinum Jewel", porn star Jewel De'Nyle's production company.

Since then, there's been a ton of speculation and misinformation about what Shelly Martinez' future holds.

According to pornstar Jewel De'Nyle, Shelly has agreed to star in a "solo fetish film" for Platinum Jewel - De'Nyle's production company.

Jewel De'Nyle stated that Shelly Martinez was not up for a hardcore movie, but might be willing "to do a solo Bettie Page fetish type movie just starring her doing different set ups with stockings, boots, heels, whips etc."

More recently, De'Nyle confirmed: "I landed Shelly Martinez so I'm happy with this she will be doing a solo fetish type movie for me."

Shelly Martinez broke her silence yesterday with a blog entry on her official MySpace page. "Porn Rumors: There is a HUGE difference between porn and Bettie Page fetish style shoots that is all I have to say"

Shelly Martinez will be at TNA's Bound For Glory PPV this weekend and will wrestle in the Women's Gauntlet Match to crown TNA's first "Knockout Champion".

Yeah, the latter is far kinkier.

I didn't understand WWE's reasoning for releasing her. Kevin Thorn's character seems lost without her. She had a different look than most of the WWE Divas so maybe that was it.
Pedo BearPosted on 10/14/07 at 21:21:38

She got into an argument with Batista, didn't she?

I mean, that's the most ridicilous reason to fire someone but that is what happened, if I recall.
rebelinsPosted on 10/14/07 at 21:44:56

Another reason to hate Batista.  She's hot and I'll definitely be on the lookout for this when/if it happens.  :)

I think that was not the reason, although she didn't get along with him. I read that the reason was that creative didn't like her look. I thought she looked unique but whatever. It was probably a Stephanie McMahon thing.
Pedo BearPosted on 10/14/07 at 23:08:47

Her gothic/punk look was brilliant.

I could see her and Kevin Thorn getting moved to SmackDown to feud with Deuce, Domino and Cherry.

Ummm, it probably has to do with the fact that Batista has his head up Triple H's asshole

Wait ... they put her with a goth/vampiric looking character. They play up that image AND they don't like her look?

Am I missing something here?

Maybe The H didn't like the fact that she had longer hair than him?

No, I'm just wondering. Are you acting like the Nobel Peace Prize makes Al Gore relevant now?  20 years ago the big scare was global cooling. I guess Al Gore is the modern day version of P.T. Barnum.
pszPosted on 10/21/07 at 16:26:23

No... 20 years ago they were complaining about the hole in the Ozone layer caused by styrofome and aerosol hairsprays. It was global warming THEN, too ;->

No, it was global cooling. Go back to the 70s and read a lot of the same magazines that are pushing the same agenda currently but with a different temperature. How do we go from scientists being absolutely sure we were going into another Ice Age to the scientists now being completely confident that the Earth is going towards Global Warming unless we raise taxes and other socialist positions.

I think some people are easily swayed by scare tactics that Al Gore uses for political gain. They also fail to understand that the Earth goes through cyclical swings in temperature. The Earth has cooled and warmed up many times in the past and it occurred without the scapegoat of blaming capitalism and industry. You're more than welcome to keep believing Al Gore and his mockumentary even with more evidence coming out to refute his findings though.

Remember how Al Gore insisted that global warming caused Hurricane Katrina? Look at Hurricane activity since then.

The world might be warming but to blame humans without being skeptical and looking at other natural causes is just stupid. Here's a good article that explains one natural cause that has to do with sunspots and their affect on the Earth. http://www.csmonitor.com/2007/0927/p13s03-sten.htm They were probably paid off by the oil companies though.  ::)

Damn liberals, always trying to cut down on our fossil fuel consumption and pollution for personal gains that are never adequately explained.

By the way, psz is correct in his assertion that the 80s were 20 years ago, while the 70s -- in which the "global cooling" scare occurred -- were 30 years ago.

Al Gore is the chairman of a carbon credit company. Doesn't that say enough about his reasoning for jumping into the man made global warming debate? Especially considering the background his family has. I mean, is this really the man you want to put in the forefront of environmental issues?

Besides, I hardly would say calling for higher taxes is a strong way to help the issue. It's just another way to re-distribute wealth.

I'm just wondering what made the Earth cool and warm over millions of years. It seems like liberals just focus on 100 years. They won't research history past the industrial revolution and the emergence of capitalism.
Some ARSEHOLE Stole My GimmickPosted on 10/21/07 at 22:45:40

Yeah, but what are people going to use a fuel when the World's oil supply runs dry?

Ethanol is a lot more cleaner than gasoline, and cheaper too.

Propane is also cheaper.

Hell I even saw a guy who modified his car so it would run on cooking oil, and another that ran on methane

The rumored reason I keep hearing circulated is that Stephanie had something against her. Of course, internet rumors are a dime a dozen.

If it's true, though, this is one instance where I approve of the WCW approach - take two wrestlers with beef and make them work a program together. <3
