Who is Christian Cage's special consultant?

AnubisPosted on 02/02/07 at 08:03:02

I don't see them destroying Samoa Joe's "in your face" character by making it him, nor do I see Goldberg or Brock Lesnar playing second fiddle to that little twerp.  AJ Styles makes no sense because he has no grudge with Kurt Angle.

So who could it be?  Assuming it's not just smoke and mirrors (which would be mightily annoying since they're tossing big names around), and assuming Cage has been honest about his description (wrestles similar to Angle and hates his guts), the only candidate I can think of is Chris Jericho.

Is this possible?  Fozzy's video will be on the Monday special (which I won't be able to watch because they picked the one night I have a dozen other shows to watch, and both 24 and Heroes are a hundred times better than TNA, as is Two and a Half Men), so that kinda points in that direction as well.  Still, I also don't see Jericho ever coming back to wrestling.

This is really bugging me, because I get the feeling Vince Russo is fucking with the fans' minds by tossing out all these names.

Spoiler:

It's Scott Steiner.
AnubisPosted on 02/02/07 at 08:15:50

Where did you find this out?

And what in Christian Cage's mind makes him think he wrestles like Kurt Angle?

And for that matter, what does Scott Steiner have against Angle?

I had a bad feeling that this storyline would turn into a dud. ::)

*Still waiting for Vince Russo to do something right.*

I should apply to be a booker in TNA.

I read a two week spoiler.

I thought it would be Shamrock.

What does Jericho have against Angle? Is there a storyline with these two I'm forgetting? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. God, now I must find their matches together...

Jericho will come back once he realizes no one listens to his music, no one believes him as an actor, and once E!/VH1 stop bringing him on every god-damned "I love stupid, moronic theme" shows.
Rick GarrardPosted on 02/03/07 at 01:02:04

let's face it, Jericho will NEVER, EEEEEEEHVAH be the main event guy he once was and he's probably happy that his body doesn't have to be abused on a nightly basis while making at least the same or probably even more money than he did before while wrestling, jerky. [/Jericho more off]

I'm shocked that Christian's advisor isn't Lita.  :)

Jake, I'm sorry, but I'm thinking you've got very little taste given these comments:

24 and Heroes are the two best shows on television!  Two and a Half Men, well, that show always has me laughing my ass off start to finish.  I also watch How I Met Your Mother, but that wasn't part of the time problem.

What I don't like is that retarded New Adventures of Old Christine.  Given how you hate the best shows on television, though, would it be safe to say you actually like that one? ::)

I listen to his music.  He's actually performing ROCK'N'ROLL, and that's a good thing.  I despise pop, R&B, rap, and all the modern crapola.  I want the 80s back dammit!  Back when Michael Jackson was cool, back when Madonna was young, back when "rap" was "Bobby Brown".  Meat Loaf, Queen . . . Metallica before they sucked!

Chris Jericho, so far, seems to be good at every freaking thing he does.  Great entertainer, awesome wrestler, talented musician, he is a master of all trades.  I love Fozzy.

Based on your tastes so far, is it safe to assume you think Maria Kanellis, Trish Stratus, and Jackie Gayda are hot?  (Excuse me while I barf.)
TiLoBrownPosted on 02/03/07 at 16:01:51

Heroes is way too random with its writing to be great. Now if you said 24 and Studio 60.....I got a feeling this is moving to the off topic board shortly...
