Check out the report from his recent radio interview:

from Travis Livengood:

Here's a recap of Kurt's babble on 411mania.com:

Angle speaks out in a wild interview with Bubba the Love Sponge!

Kurt Angle appeared on the Bubba the Love Sponge Radio Show today and had many very interesting things to say. Highlights are below.

- Said that he makes more money now with TNA than he did with WWE.

- Said Dixie Carter knows more about business than Vince McMahon.

- Said that TNA Impact did a record rating last week and that the show now gets more viewers than Smackdown and ECW.

- Said that TNA is working on bringing Hulk Hogan and Big Show in, adding that Big Show was one of the hardest workers in WWE but was never appreciated.

- Mentioned rumors that Chris Jericho is coming to TNA.

- Said Kevin Nash won't be able to wrestle for another year.

- Said that a doctor told him that Vince McMahon is "a heart attack waiting to happen" judging by the purple veins on his nose.

- Said that WWE got a major business deal in China because of him, but that Shane McMahon ended up getting the credit for it.

- Said Triple H is a slimeball but that he has a great mind and will be good for WWE after he retires.

- Once again said that TNA drew a higher rating last week than Smackdown.

- Said that Hulk Hogan and Goldberg might come to TNA soon and when that happens, they will beat RAW.

- Said TNA's top free agents are Hulk Hogan, Big Show, and Chris Jericho.

- Said that Test is already a multi-millionaire from his investments in real estate.

- Said Chris Jericho is very tough because he once got drunk and stood up to Test who Angle said is also a legit tough guy.

- Said that he is responsible for bringing Bobby Lashley to wrestling.

- Said that Christian needs to be a total heel and that they are taking him in that direction now. He also said that Christian needs a long title reign but also needs to learn to take direction better, mentioning that he will have a match of the year with him soon.

- Said he doesn't know if he is currently a face or heel but likes it anyway.

- He said he didn't understand how his Iron Man match with Samoa Joe ended up being so good because he got a concussion in the match.

- Said he had a lot of respect for Hulk Hogan as a businessman and mentioned that he had a five star match with Hogan at the King of the Ring.

- Said that he is a wrestler, agent, and writer with TNA and said that if Big Show comes to TNA, he would make sure he would stay undefeated for a long time.

- Said that Shawn Michaels refused to be moved to the Smackdown brand which is why he ended up being moved there. He said that Vince McMahon told him that Angle was their first choice for the move, but that was a lie. He also said some weird thing about how Shawn Michaels never puts anybody over, but then said that Michaels said he would put over Angle at WrestleMania.

- Said that RVD once admitted to him that he doesn't know how to work a match and just does highspots and then points to himself.

- Said he wants Bubba to become a manager in TNA.

- Said he wants Tito Ortiz on the phone next week on the Bubba Show so they can discuss a potential MMA fight.

- Bubba also said during the interview that Hulk Hogan told him that Dixie Carter was the real deal and that she had backers who could buy and sell Vince McMahon ten times over.

- Bubba said that Hogan told him that he has talked with TNA about coming in.

- Bubba and Angle agreed that TNA should combat WWE by going after big names, just like WCW did.

- Bubba and Angle also agreed to work together to try and get Hogan in TNA.

Wow.. Sounds like he was either high on something, or just saying random shit to stir up controversy and get attention (VKM-style).

He also sounds like an ass, a braggart, and a liar.

Also, Bubba the Love Sponge is an asshole, too.
Rick GarrardPosted on 01/27/07 at 19:38:34

you forgot to say that Bubba's nose is still brown from kissing up to Hogan for Hogan's run in WCW.
UnrightPosted on 01/28/07 at 02:04:34

Word is that Hogan was Bubba's best man at his wedding, so all that kissing up paid off.

Bubba is just a Howard Stern wannabe. I'm really glad he booted off the Tampa area radiowaves. Plus I'm double glad he's on Sirius and not XM, because I got XM for Xmas.
phudjiePosted on 01/28/07 at 03:09:10

..... how is XM - I've been wanting to get a satellite radio deal - but I'm not to sure which way to go - at first I was leaning towards Sirius but no am leaning towards XM, but I haven't made up my mind yet.....
UnrightPosted on 01/28/07 at 05:44:00

XM is good. Mind you, I didn't do any research on it, my wife surprised me with it.

I don't much care for talk or sports radio, but XM has plenty of them. The music channels are great and have plenty of variety. They stuff that definately doesn't get much play anywhere else. Bob Dylan and Tom Petty have great shows where they DJ that I try not to miss every week. If you get a subscription, you can also stream the music on your computer (though not all stations are available, but there are extra internet-only channels).

The few downsides are the fact that they seem to stop the music to tell you what channel you're listening to every 15 minutes or so. It's annoying because they don't have to (no FCC) and I can plainly look at my dial and see what station I'm tuned to.

Also the no commercial thing isn't 100% true. All the talk and sports channels (including the channels for comedy) have commercials.  They make an effort to let you know if a station is going to have cursing, but on non-cursing stations they don't always use the clean versions of songs. Not generally a problem except when I listen to XM at work.

You can sign-up for a 3 day trial on www.XMradio.com. I'm pretty happy with it, but then again I'd probably would have been happy with Sirius as well.

Ok, what he said wasn't GREAT, but it's nowhere near Warrior-like. Actually, a majority of the stuff he said was completely realistic.
pszPosted on 01/30/07 at 14:05:41

Might not be TRUE, but definately REALISTIC ;->

Now, when Angle goes off on a tangent about McMahon's hairpiece attacking a bagel in Angle's lockerroom only to be subdued by the Almighty Power Of The Shininess Of Angle's Bald Head.... *THEN* he's truely on the Path Of The Warrior.

Personally, Angle lost credibility with me when he, of all people, complained about not being used...

Lesse... Championship, championship, championship, major push, championship, championship, drafted to ECW for the purpose of... CHAMPIONSHIP...

Yeah, not being used...
UnrightPosted on 01/30/07 at 14:25:43

There's more to being used than to just win championships, just ask most of the WWE Cruiserweight champs and Women's champs throughout history. I know what you're saying, though.

Plus, I'm sure the DJ (Bubba) steered most of the conversation and Angle was just saying whatever.

Bubba: Wouldn't it be the best idea ever for TNA to bring in my friend, Hulk Hogan?

Kurt: uh, sure..

Travis@411: ANGLE WANTS HOGAN IN TNA! ACTIVELY RECRUITING!

Good going, now I won't be able to stop laughing for a fucking week after those last couple comments!

;D

You know why he's got this big head, right?  Becuase he was pushed too hard too fast!  Sure, he won an Olympic gold medal.  That has nothing to do with professional wrestling, unfortunately.  Truth is, when he started, he was clumsy in the ring and obnoxious on the mic (much like the Rock before the 21st century).  He didn't get good until around the time of the Invasion, honestly.  He got too much in too short of a time and he let it go to his head.

Now he's crazy.

LOL @ Path of the Warrior

;D
