Next month on July 18 & 19 Maryland Championship Wrestling is putting on their annual Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup.

This year's cup is special for many reasons, the first that for the first time it will be a 2 night event.

Night 1 will include as pre show fanfest with Tammy (Sunny) Sytch, Danny Doring, Steve Corino, and more.

Christian York will defend the MCW Heavyweight Title in a "3 Stages of Hell" Match against Adam Flash.
The first fall will be an "I Quit" Match, Fall 2 will be a Last Man Standing Match, and the 3rd fall..if needed... will be a Chain Match. Steve Corino will be the special referee for this contest.

DJ Hyde & The Bruiser will team up against ECW Originals: Danny Doring & Balls Mahoney in a NO DQ Tag Team Match.

The Ghetto Mafia (Dope & Creed) will defend the MCW Tag Team Titles against Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma in a Ladder Match.

And then there are the 5 qualifying matches for the Shamrock Cup:
Match 1: Ruckus faces Joey (Mercury) Matthews
Match 2: Delirious faces Claudio Castignoli
Match 3: Devon Moore takes on "Crowbar" Devon Storm
Match 4: ROH Graduate Triple Threat: Pelle Primeau vs. Rhett Titus vs. Mitch Franklin
Match 5: Jose & Joel Maximo (The SAT) face TJ Mack & Krazy K in a match where the man that scores the fall advances to the final on night 2.

Then there will be an "After Party" where ticket holders for the July 18th show will get to hang out with all the stars in attedendance.

The Finals of the Shamrock Cup:
Last Year's Winner: MCW Cruiserweight Champion: Josh Daniels faces the 5 men that qualified on Night 1 in a six way elimination match.
And to make sure that its called right down the middle... Extreme Original Bill Alfonso will be the special referee.

Plus that afternoon: there will be a Special Q&A with former WWF World Champion: The Iron Sheik.

MCW Heavyweight Champion: Christian York will defend his title against #1 Contender: The Sugarmask



MCW Tag Team Champions: The Ghetto Mafia (Dope & Creed) will defend the gold against "Hot SHot" Ryan McBride & Teddy Stigma in a rematch from July's Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup in a LADDER MATCH! At the Shamrock Cup these 2 teams put on 1 of the best Ladder Matches in wrestling (it gets said alot but buy the dvd & see for yourselves).



2008 Shane Shamrock Memorial Cup Winner & former MCW Cruiserweight Champion: "Pure Impact" Derek Frazier will take on 2007 Shamrock Cup winner & the man that defeated him for the Cruiserweight Title 1 year ago: Josh Daniels



It will be a battle of the Beach Crews when The New Rehobeth Beach Crew (LK & JB) take on The Real Rehobeth Beach Crew of Tyler Hilton & Zachary Shane in a match where the winners will get to keep the RBC name & the losing team must split up for good.



Former MCW Heavyweight Champion: Adam Flash will take on the current champ's "bodyguard": the 6'7" 315 lb Cobian.



TJ & Kirby Mack: Team Maction will take on "Picture Perfect" Bruce Maxwell & "The Immaculate" TJ Cannon: The bEst Around



Plus:



Former WWE & ECW Superstar: Stevie Richards will be in action as well as Ruckus, MCW Cruiserweight Champion: Sabian, Dino Divine, The Bruiser & all the stars of MCW.



And as an added attraction:



Local Baltimore rockers: Beretta JAne will be on hand at the event & have even given their song "Die 4 U" as the official theme of MCW's "Holiday Hell"
