Anyone around Fremont or Sandusky, Ohio?

VertigoPosted on 01/10/08 at 19:59:12

There is a promotion called Hybrid Wrestling. They bring in a lot of TNA talent as guests on shows and have good local talent as well, including MDogg20 Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition.

If you live nearby, you should go. Maybe we'll run into each other :)

Oh, next show is Feb. 16.

And you were doing such a great job selling the shows until then... :(

Are they running it at Cedar Point?  ;)

That would be fun...

... and I guess I should have said I might run in to you... just depends on if someone wants to throw me in your direction I suppose.

I'm in Columbus but I don't drive. Thanks for the heads-up though, always good to hear indy news.

Gene, is Cleveland All Pro Wrestling still doing shows too?

They've recently relaunched as Pro Wrestling Ohio. Seems to be pretty much all the same people.

Wow, you're in Columbus? Surely you have wrestling friends that drive. You should come to the show.

You guys are my only wrestling friends.  :'(

My local friends tend to be goths, punks, furries, or general-purpose druggies. And to top it all off, my back's gone out again, long car ride would be terrible for it. I don't think it's gonna happen, sorry. But have a kickass show and tell us what happened!  :)

Oh, and in reference to CAPW becoming PWO, one difference that has come to light is that someone else besides JT Lightning is doing the booking now. The new booking seems to spotlight local talent, rather than the over-the-hill guys and just-passing-through TNA and ROH stars. Makes sense to me. I like Tracy Smothers, Gypsy Joe, Bryan Danielson, and the MCMGs as much as the next guy, but your talent that appears week in week out should be the focus.

Too bad I am so far away in Texas, I'd love to see one of those shows. I've seen some Hybrid stuff online and they do some fantastic flippy, flying, spot-monkey stuff which I just love to watch.

Matt Cross and Josh Prohibition can do some amazing stuff, especially when wrestling each other.

Have a good time!

I'll have a good time, I'm working Irish Airborne on this show in a six man tag. It'll be my first time working them.

Card subject to change:
Of course it did. With Jake out because of a surgery (from what I've heard), no more match with IA. Replaced by Faith In Nothing who have tremendous heat in Hybrid. Looking forward to it.

In an odd Turn of Events, I found that on Directv, I have the Ohio Sports network that was showing PWO.  The main event had the Colin kid that has been taking a beating for a while on ECW in a win over Joe something.  decent match.
