Ring Magazine Championships in Boxing

I saw a Ring Magazine Championship get mentioned on ESPN last night for a title match at the Hatton/Mayweather bout.  So when do they start promoting Pro Wrestling Illustrated Champions in wrestling, since The Ring is owned by Golden Boy Ventures (De La Hoya's company) which bought The Ring and PWI from Kappa Publishing.

I figure TNA will do it if one of their guys gets "listed" :-P

WWE... Well, unless they do a partnering deal with them, I doubt we'll see them mention a "rival" wrestling magazine at all.

perhaps instead of a "Television Champion" WWE can create a "Power 25" Title?

It seems more like since the "talent swap" between SD! & ECW that the ECW title has become SD!'s 3rd title to replace the Cruiserweight belt.

Which is why I hated the swap and almost never watch ECW since it happened.

December 12, 1986: "Dr. Death" Steve Williams defeats UWF champion One Man Gang in 21: 43 in Houston, Texas, to become the winner of the $50,000 Pro Wrestling Illustrated/UWF Challenge Cup Tournament.
