Mr. Ken Kennedy | Posted on 09/15/07 at 07:19:10 Youtube videos from a now defunct (I think) indy fed in my birth province... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3x8wjPdh6Lk and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LIoUce3MOrU and this bump gone horribly wrong: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MAfQdGUzinc |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 09/15/07 at 14:27:45 looks like a bunch of untrained backyard spotmonkeys with little to no formal training of protecting one's self and one's opponent that just happened to get a money mark to buy them a ring and find a place to work in a building. Anyone can do the gymnastic spots and the hardcore weapons spots, but not everyone can tell a compelling story through the selling of moves. This man would NOT approve. |

That's why I put it there to prove how bad it is. But a lot of them were formally trained. Some of them were trained by Moondog King, who wrestled in the WWF in the late 70s (he was actually one half of the original Moondogs tag team but was replaced by Moondog Spot due to problems he had at the time with his cocaine habit) for Vinnie Mac Sr. A couple were even trained in the DUNGEON, which really shocked me. They were probably trained by Teddy Hart and like Teddy, are probably just Marks for themselves and would do any shit to get themselves a pop.
