Cannot even open my TNM7SE

JSLPosted on 02/18/05 at 07:25:48

Opening the .bat file I get this error:

Heading: 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem

Text: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\AUTOEXEC.NT. The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.

Options: 'Close' or 'Ignore'

Notes: When I click 'Ignore', the command prompt closes. When I click 'Close' the command prompt closes. Additionally I can't find my AUTOEXEC.NT file unless it's hidden from me.

What do I do?

Have you tried opening TNM from a DOS prompt?  If so, does the same thing happen?  If not, give it a try and report your results.  I believe Oliver may be on a business trip, but maybe someone else here can help if they've seen your problem before.

What build are you using (The newest is 3b, I believe)?

Tried it using the command prompt & it still doesn't work.

the problem was because the autoexe.nt file is being renamed.go to c:\windows\repair there u find a file autoexe.nt copy it and past it to c:\windows\system32\

I fixed it.
