12/23 Manhattan, NY

Homicide b Bryan Danielson in about 25:00 to win the ROH title. Pearce & Hagadorn attacked Homicide at one point and it was stopped, but the ref refused to end it on a DQ. At another point, Danielson wouldn't break on the ropes and again the ref refused to call a DQ. Danielson got his foot on the rope after a cop killa. Homicide finally won with a high low clothesline. Big post-match celebration of the title change.

Congratulations to Homicide. After being on pretty much every since ROH show for the last 5 years, he's probably the most deserving guy on the roster for a title run. I'm not the hugest Homicide fan, but he's done a ton for the company, and more importantly he's one of the most experienced guys on the entire roster. In the last 5 years I've watched him go from solid novelty "gangsta" tag team guy with a rubber chicken to the strongstyle thug, to the leader of the nastiest heel stable in ROH, and finally back to ultraface status after saving ROH's bacon against CZW.

Cheers to Homicide. I'd wish him luck, but realistically nobody is going to be able to beat him. After all. He drinks blood like it was... it was fuckin' milk, man! ;D

Pro Wrestling NOAH star Takeshi Morishima defeated Homicide to become the new Ring of Honor World Champion at ROH's event in Philadelphia, PA. Samoa Joe also had his final match for ROH in Philadelphia, defeating Jimmy Rave. Joe is currently on his "farewell tour" with the promotion right now.

This was a good match Live. It could be a bit of a letdown on the DVD... but the aftermath is going to be amazing. RoH will have world-wide recognition now... and I'm as happy as can be.
