Pulsar | Posted on 03/17/05 at 21:39:33 OK Guys, Had a job interview early monday morning, just got home today, went to sim my TNM cards, and boom. Can't open the d**n thing. It seems to be a compatibility issue with Windows, which I never had before. Here's the error, any ideas? "The System file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. |
Critic of the Dawn | Posted on 03/17/05 at 23:12:01 Can you open it through the DOS prompt, or is that not working either? Eric "Critic of the Dawn" |
Pulsar | Posted on 03/18/05 at 00:28:30 No, not working in Dos prompt either |
Unright | Posted on 03/18/05 at 14:25:26 Have you made any changes at all to anything since last running it? |
Pulsar | Posted on 03/18/05 at 22:57:53 Besides installing Battlefield 1942, No |
Unright | Posted on 03/19/05 at 03:27:59 Maybe a system file got changed during the Battlefired 1492 install. You could try the system restore function that Windows has. |
Pulsar | Posted on 03/22/05 at 04:15:36 Yep, didn't work. Seems like my dos prompt isn't working correctly with TNM7. Any other ideas? |
Unright | Posted on 03/22/05 at 05:03:08 Try DosBox. It's a DOS emulator program. Perhaps it'll work better than the Windows DOS Emulator. You can get it here: http://www.abandonia.com/main.php?nav=programs Good luck. |
