He's a product of the Universal Studio audience in getting him over. Much like with Lance Hoyt. The TNA audience is annoying. They intentionally cheer heels, and it's not in the Stone Cold sort of way either. |

Gilbert/Gordon/Heyman all booked ECW during that time to intentionally not have heels and faces, but merely a group of guys that all busted their asses and let the fans decide who they liked and disliked based on talent in the ring. And the booking crew was smart enough to let the fans dictate the direction of a number of lineups. |
| psz | Posted on 06/16/06 at 14:10:26 True. The Heel/Faces would... Melt from one to the other, almost completely on the whims of the Fans' Reactions. I like how Heyman put it once: We let the FANS decide who they liked, who they disliked, who was over, and who was a dud. Just because they boo'd someone did NOT mean that they sucked. It just meant that NEXT week, he had to hit one of the girls with a chair. Something along those lines, anyway. ECW fans also had the "Bizarroworld" idea of cheering a heel if he/they pulled off an amazing set of moves/cut a killer promo/did something really impressive. Complimenting talent... What a novel concept. |
