Last Night's TNA

What do you guys think of the show?  It was my first time to watch in a really long time.  I enjoyed over anything WWE has been putting out.  I thought the Abyss/Sabin match was horrible.  I'm not a smark or anything, I just didn't care too much for watching it.  I would rather watch Abyss fight someone his size.  I thought the Christian mockery of Double J was funny.  The main event was alright, kept waiting for someone to come out and help Christian, but I guess we'll not see that.  Also, I hope the James' stay away from Konnan/Killings.  I want the New Age Outlawz back!  I'm looking forward to the New Years TNA Special.

Yeah, ever since the nWo this seems to be the way of wrestling. Maybe it's cheaper or something. You see it over and over again. Degeneration X, Evolution, Kurt Angle attacking Cena, Big Show and Kane attacking Batista, Jeff Jarrett and allies attacking ... Rarely do you see anyone come out to help even though as you're sitting there watching it all sorts of great angles come to mind. TNA does seem to end in a minor brawl about every third week but they never give you any satisfaction.
Years ago (early 80's?) I used to watch wrestling on Saturday nights (NWA? AWA?) and I remember the locker room emptying out at the end of the show every week (the Freebirds, the Rock 'N' Roll Express, the Von Erich's and a bunch of others including the Road Warriors). I think this was before Ted Turner bought it and created WCW. The announcer would shout "That's all the time we have left" and the show would go off the air in the middle of a big brawl. I remember getting my cousin, who previously hated wrestling, to watch and seeing him jump up shouting "No! No!" as the show suddenly went off. You would never find out how it ended either other than deducting what happened based on the new feuds the next week. But you would always want to tune in.
