Best of Jeff Jarrett?

From lordsofpain:

TNA will be releasing a DVD called "My World: The Best of Jeff Jarrett" in early 2006.

I hope there's gonna be more on it, otherwise that'll be a mighty short DVD, LOL.

Well... Best of Jeff Jarret covering his WCW/WWE/Indy days wouldn't be SO bad...

you mean like Jarrett vs Billy Joe Travis from the USWA with a guitar on a pole match from the Dallas Sportatorium aka the night Jeff Jarrett became a one dimensional wrestler that over-relied on a lame gimmick that he stole from the Honky Tonk Man?  ;)

I was thinking more along the lines of the "Recently Cut Hair, Tagging With Owen Hart" days, but that works too ;->

As opposed to modern day Dubba J who is trying very hard to look like Bono from U2?

In fairness to Jarrett, he's not a bad wrestler by any means and was certainly decent back in the mid to late 90's, plus he plays his character well (even if, as suggested, it's a basic cross between Honky Tonk Man and Ric Flair) and can draw up some decent heel heat. Lest we forget at the point where he left the WWF, he was actually at the point where he was one of their top heels.

OK, his repeated world title reigns in TNA are overdone, but if you started a new promotion today with the TNA roster, and asked me to pick some guys to revolve the world title around, he'd be one of those guys.

Then again, as I have often aspired to, based on my not despising the guy and having a modicum of liking towards him, it probably makes me Jeff Jarretts #1 fan.

In all fairness, his matches with Raven on Raven's video were actually really good. I respect Raven for occasionally going high-risk, with cross-body's to the outside and such. Also, he plays his gimmick well. I just never really got into him as a credible World Champion.
