Psicosis?

If you watched Impact this week, you would've noticed that the opener was Jeff Jarrett verses Psicosis, who was wearing the old mask.

This kind of baffled me, and I originally assumed this Psicosis was the AAA imposter because I know the original Psicosis, who was unmasked in WCW, was banned from using the name and began calling himself Nicho El Millionario.  Tenay referred to him as a former WCW Cruiserweight Champion, but that could also be explained as not wanting to confuse the fans.

So I did some research... And this WAS the original Psicosis.  This guy's tattoos were consistent with the original's, not the AAA guy.  Does anyone know when he started wearing the mask again and how he's able to use the Psicosis name, which AAA owns?  The original La Parka, who also made his TNA debut this week, is still calling himself La Park because of the same situation.

AAA & TNA are sharing talent now occationally. So the names are part of the deal. The reason for using the men that originally wore the outfits & masks is because they probably relized that fans would recognize imposters.

Fans will also remember that Psicosis was unmasked in WCW.  What's the explanation for putting the mask back on him?  Is it similar to the Rey Mysterio situation where TNA feels the mask is more marketable, or is it a condition with AAA where the name has to be connected to the masks?  I haven't heard anything about Psicosis signing a TNA contract, so I don't think it has much to do with marketability.

Also, if that's the case, why isn't La Parka being called such?  He's going by the name he has been going by in CMLL -- LA Park.

The Mexican "big two" are pretty screwed up.  They share the same time slot on the same network yet are competitors.  The have Pena holding name and likeness rights for for guys in AAA yet they show up in CMLL under similar costumes but different names... it's almost as ridiculous as the Monday Night Wars of the Fake Razor and Fake Diesel.
