I'll never be the same.

Got to tinker a bit with a broadband connection the other day, and while I had it I downloaded about three joshi matches on youtube. Hamakino vs Mima Shimoda/Etsuko Mika at Arsion Carnival '99. A couple Mariko Yoshida matches.

Wow.

Just... there are no words.

I'll never look at American wrestling the same way again.

That is all.

Same here. Seen some NOAH matches (mostly KENTA) and I don't feel the same about American Wrestling anymore.

Heck, I missed most of RAW last night. Don't give a flying clothesline, either.

It didn't quite have the same effect on me, I can still appreciate american wrestling. Just not WWE or TNA (save for some of the x-division workers).

There's a whole lot of great stuff out there, it's just a shame that the two worst products currently going are the easiest to come across.

As far as getting into Japanese wrestling, may I suggest some Dragon Gate, awesome trio's matches galore. Also I really like New Japan (but it's admittedly less consistantly good than NOAH is, I guess it's just a familarity thing for me at this point) and Big Japan (I love the garbage wrestling. 200 Lighttubes Barbed Wire Hightower Spidernet Deathmatches FTW!) There's a lot of good places to pick up cheap puroresu around. Oliver isn't a big fan of shills on the boards so if you want a few suggestions on places to look around for it drop me a PM.

DragonGate is rather awesome IMO, but not too easy to come by. It's the puro promotion that mostly resembles my favorite, RoH.

There's even some good 80s All Japan Women's stuff out there if you know where to look as well as some classic Memphis stuff with Hot Stuff Eddie Gilbert, Jerry Lawler and Terry Funk, including the Funk vs Lawler empty Mid-South Coliseum match.
