Problem with controlcenter

Oliver

I'm having that problem also...Can't get into controlcenter.

Has this problem been figuired out yet?

A little history with my copy..

When tring to install Build 3 I put the files in the wrong place to start with...I put them in the main folder instead of the program folder...When i figured it out , I deleted all the new files from the patch in the main folder. Then i installed them in the Program folder. But One file could not be removed, it is the Card.exe..When i try to delete it it says can not delete the file is being used by another person or program, close any programs that might be using this file. TNM7Se works fine but the controlcenter. It just crashes..

Is this my problem?

More to tell you.

I went in safe mode to try and delete this file. Still couldn't delete it..But The funny thing is that I can use the controlcenter just fine in safe mode..I even adding some wrestlers this way.

So it works in safe mode, but not in normal mode right now...And that Card.exe in the main folder problem too.
Any idea's on how to delete the extra Card.exe File.

Thanks for any help

Some new info about this

It seems that when I make a backup It seems to let me use the Contolcenter just fine..But only after making a backup...Loading a backup and then trying it doesn't work.

Maybe this info will help Maybe not

XP Home service pack 2 is my system

What happens when you can't use it? Does it crash with an error? If not, it's a Windows thing which *might* be solved by sending you a few different compiles.

When i click on control center it crashs with an error message. But it crashes so fast i can't read the message number.

This just started after the last upgrade.

I have notice now that my visualizer now sometimes will
go to the next match and the same wrestlers from the last match stay in the window. But another Visualizer window pops up under the first one.You can move the first window to look at the second window.

Thanks for any help

Here's an update

I wnet ahead and did the run in dos thing

I type command.com in the run  action
Got my dos window  and ran TNM7SE in the window

When clicking on controlcenter  I get this error message and the dos window closes and goes back to C:\TNM7SE  which is where my folder is on the C drive

here is the error message

Error 64 At PGM-CTR :20857

Hope this might help

The Visualizer thing is correlated with your crash because the original Visualizer window is closed on a clean exit of the program only.

Please check out your task list after TNM crashes and kill TNMGS.EXE.

Also, please send me your TNM as I'd love to find out what the problem with the ControlCenter is.
