Satoshi Kojima won the TC

Kojima is the 33rd Triple Crown Champion.

Seems inevitable he will drop it to Hiroshi Tenzan, thus devaluing the Triple Crown bigtime. Sigh.....

Not being to familiar with wrestling in Japan, could you explain why it would devalue the Triple Crown?  Puro is something that try as I might, I haven't been able to fully understand, so help would be much appreciated here.

I haven't been following puro quite as actively as I used to these past few monthes, but Kojima doesn't seem the most high profile choice for the Triple Crown either.  At least as good as Tenzan.

Triple Crown isn't what it used to be anyway since AJPW all but folded.  The NOAH GHC Heavyweight title catches me as the most high profile belt.

I think the idea of the double title match is sort of devaluing in the first place. I'm pretty sure Tenzan is going to win, and deservingly so in my opinion. I just don't understand the point behind the match, it seems like a bad invasion angle but neither company is merging.

Kojima might be a great Triple Crown Champion, and I think it was time for Kawada to loose the belt, but I have a feeling that Kawada dropped the strap to Kojima as to set up a big TenKoji deal for the show on the 20th, and like I said above Tenzan's probably going to win.

I don't follow NOAH as much as I would like to, so I can't really comment on the value of it's titles, but the Triple Crown is definatly worth more than the IWGP title after the Bob Sapp deal.

I'm shocked they haven't found a way to award the title to Terry Gordy or Giant Baba in 2005.

Nothing like a dead guy as your top champion to REALLY devalue any credibility your title has left.  Of course, they could just have Terry Funk take on Hollywood Hogan for a Japanese title.  ;)
