What's with the ring?

Just watched AAA for the first time in months. What's with the ring? It was six sided!

That's apparently a new thing they've been using lately.  Seems well recieved actually and is allowing them to do some new stuff as well as being more favorable to some AAA matches since lucha often involves matches with alot of wrestlers.

I think its cool looking, although I haven't seen anyone work in it yet.

It seems to be catching favor with Mixed Martial Arts now, also.
