Interview plugin causes crashes

rey619Posted on 01/30/05 at 11:32:22

I have had some problems lately with the Interview plugin causing my TNM to shut down. Suddenly there is a flash, and I get a glimpse of Error 62 or something, and then I have to restart TNM. When I try to continue the card I get :
'Sorry, you need an updated version of CARDSRV.PBC. You can get it from the TNM Homepage. It is in Downloads/Misc.'

But is it?

By the way, this isn't a major issue, as when I next press enter, my interview plugin fails and directs me to notepad to write comments for the plugin, so I end up writing my interview there instead. Just gets a little messy me thinks  ;D

This shouldn't be happening. Would you mind sending me your TNM folder zipped? Maybe I'll be able to offer a quick fix.

My tnm folder is 32 mb even when zipped..  I guess I can omit the media folder with 10 megs of pictures, right?
There is also a text document called genrc on 3 megs. Looks like it contains some sort of code.

My tnm folder is generally very messy.. is there any way I can move the circuits I want to keep to a new and clean installation? I tried to simply copy and paste the circuit folder, but that didn't work. If I can do that, maybe the interview plugin wouldn't cause trouble. And if it still does, I can send you a less cumbersome zip.

Thanks

If you delete all *.EXE, *.PBC, *.GIF, *.JPG, *.LOG, *.DLL files, that should bring the size down. Where do you end up?
