TNM7Posted on 01/19/05 at 16:39:24

When I run TNM7 in a (DOS) window on my desktop, the red credit bar, that should be the bottom, is... well not the bottom. lol

A pic is loaded here (http://www.geocities.com/samuel_a_luks/tnm7screen.bmp) so you can see what I am talking about.

I know Oliver once gave the remedy for this small problem, so I was wondering if anyone still had it or knows where the post is?

Thanks,

Sam

I have the same problem- I've resized the window TNM runs in and the credit bar appears literally halfway up the screen and that's the lowest I can get it. Same when I run matches- it only uses half or less of the screen.

That's because DOS applications usually use a 25-line screen.

What you'd need to do is click the C:\ icon on the top left of the DOS window, select Properties, then the "Layout" tab.

The second block on the right should be labeled "Window Size". Make sure the values in this block are 80 and 25 respectively.

Thanks Ollie! Wonderful! I can read things so much better now that I fixed the window size and after upping the font size! Yay!
