Two features that were in are missing now
Tom_Imp | Posted on 01/04/05 at 09:17:37 Hi Oliver. I just started up my circuit again (reloaded everything with the newest files), and I noticed two things that were fixed previously are missing again. First is the Tournament Seeding feature. I especially noticed this one since it was I who suggested it be implemented. Well, I went to book a tournament and was going to use the rating seeds to place them itself (i.e. #1 vs #16, #8 vs #9, etc.) For some reason that feature is now gone. I looked everywhere in the booking screen, but it's not there anymore. Second is the entrance delay for two teammates with different themes. This was addressed before and you did fix it with some intro file, but after I put that new file into the directory and ran a card the themes don't wait for you to hit a key. It just moves on to the next wrestler on the team. Since you were able to fix these before, it shouldn't be too hard to do again. I just hope you can figure out why they are missing all of a sudden. |
Tom_Imp | Posted on 01/04/05 at 10:27:12 Update on that tournament problem. Apparantly it does work for singles matches, but not for tag teams. Not exactly sure why the feature was implemented for one and not the other, but at least I know it is still in there. Can it be made to work for tag team tournaments as well Oliver? |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 01/06/05 at 16:03:10 Themes: Add the String WaitBetweenEntrances=1 to TNM.CNF (main folder) - this is the way it got implemented back then. If you reinstall, you have to reenter this tweak :) As far as the seeding thing goes, I'll have to look into it. |

triad4evr | Posted on 01/19/05 at 02:38:28 It's encrypted. Once you add that line, the next time you open it, that line will be encrypted, too... Oliver is a sneaky guy! |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 01/19/05 at 13:31:18 Don't know if it's the "sneaky" part as much as having to make sure that users don't enter illegal values for the configuration strings which then cause their TNMs to blow up. Using TweakCirc SE, you can edit any value inside the config file. However, only valid values are then accepted. |
kurropt_antagonist | Posted on 01/19/05 at 16:12:56 Forgive me for being stupid (I am American after all :p) but can someone walk me through this...? I add the WaitBetweenEntrances=1 to TNM.CNF and save it. Open it back up and it's still in there (not encrypted) and doesn't show up in TweakCirc's BROWSE TNM.CNF. Do I need to get TweakCirc registered first? |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 01/21/05 at 15:55:26 It has to be TweakCirc SE but it doesn't have to be registered. The thing is you need to add the line to the TNM.CNF file in your circuit's folder. Only then will it take effect and only then will it appear in TweakCirc SE :) |

Edit: Okay, it now appears in TweakCirc SE, but it doesn't work... It just seems now there's a small delay between themes but I figure that's because I slowed down the text speed. Sorry for all the problems. =\ Edit 2: 100% Solved. :D I didn't have the newest Intros.exe. Thanks for all the help. :D |
