"Run-time Error" after ring intr

jamisles02Posted on 11/22/04 at 19:18:16

I recently downloaded some plugins, and when I went to do my first card after installing them, I get a "Run-time Error" after the ring introductions are done. I e-mailed Oliver about this (about a week ago), and still no responce. Can anyone help me fix this?

have you run the diagnostic utility available at the very bottom of the TNM7.com download page?

I would suggest doing this first just in case, it may be something simple.

I ran it, but everything came out okay.

Would uninstalling, then re-installing TNM7 help fix this problem?

DON'T uninstall and re-install. That's ALWAYS a bad idea around here.  And it makes it VERY hard to diagnose a problem that you may be having.

What you need to do is find out the error number that you are getting and post it.

And also run the TNM Diagnostic utility just as a precautionary measure.

Another thing to ask.. how many wrestlers are in your database?

I was getting an Error 5, and had only the RAW, SmackDown! & TNA rosters from the site. Surprisingly though, the problem hasn't appeared lately though.

Just as a rule of thumb: if I don't reply to an e-mail within two days, you can consider it having been lost / stuck somewhere.

If this ever happens again, immediately exit the program, ZIP up the TNM folder and send it my way. I'll then check it out for you.
