TNM Shutting Down....

BobJacobsenVER1Posted on 11/29/04 at 04:41:32

For some reason when I go to the circuit menu, every time I click on any circuit, TNM shuts down. It shuts down so quick that it doesn't show an error. Any help would be great, thanks!

Try running TNM through the DOS prompt - this may help to keep it open for you to see what error number it gives you.

I feel pretty dumb since I know computers pretty good, but I have Windows XP...how do I get to the dos prompt?

Also...I created another circuit ( just the name, the refs and a title ) to see if it would work, so I shut the menu and went to that circuit and it worked but then I went to one of my other circuits ( the ones that didn't work before ) and it shut down again..Any ideas?

Bringing up the DOS prompt isn't all that hard.  The quickest way is probably by going to the start menu, choosing Run, and then typing Command.com as the program to run.  You can also find it by going to the start menu, choosing All Programs, and then selecting Accessories.  It should be in that folder under the name Command Prompt.

Have you tried running the Diagnostic Tool?
