Couple of issues with the new Circuit Editor

rptDX316Posted on 10/16/04 at 00:58:28

1) There seems to be no means of completely deleting matches. Am I missing something, or is that not possible?

2) When I exit the program and select to save changes, it brings up a Windows XP Error saying TNMCEDIT.EXE has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

Obviously none of the changes made are saved because of this.

1) Just click the match and completely delete the contents of the textbox.

2) No clue what that means. Could you please send me a screenshot? Thanks.

Does this error also pop up if you click another card (then it should also bring up the saving dialog)?

Oliver,

Is there a way of adding a word wrap into TNM and the TNM Circuit Editor?
Oliver CoppPosted on 10/16/04 at 10:16:01

Well, I suppose I could add it to the Circuit Editor. As far as TNM goes, not sure what it would help.

The way the box in the Circuit Editor is dimensioned, it fits exactly the same number of characters horizontically as the DOS screen.

The same problem occurs after clicking on another card as well. After clicking Yes to save, the following box appears:

You'll probably have to copy and paste the link to see the picture

A tripod image appears?
rptDX316Posted on 10/16/04 at 17:13:15

Heh, well it was working earlier!

I've now edited the post with the URL for the error pic.  As Tripod is funny about hotlinking stuff, you'll most likely have to copy and paste the link into your browser of choice.

Can't get the picture - "hosted by Tripod" appears.

I think it would be best if you zipped up your entire TNM (minus the themes and the PROGRAM folder) and sent it my way. The error you are getting is something that didn't even happen to any of the beta testers early in beta.

Will do.

To the Hexacon e-mail address?
Oliver CoppPosted on 10/16/04 at 20:46:43

That would be best.

Okey-doke.  Sending it now.

Thanks.
