JohnManardPosted on 09/08/04 at 23:15:01

Ive been using TNM 7SE on XP for months no problems. Last night it just stopped working. No warning just wont even let me get into the game now.

It says Error 62 72 you name it . .not sure what happened

I re installed a clean version and it worked fine.

TNMdaig i ran and it said the circuits were fine.

Oliver will best be able to help you if you can record the exact error message.  Try to duplicate the problem, write down the error number and pgm ctr, and either put it here or email it to Oliver.

Good luck getting things running again ASAP. :)

Small problem .. it flashes so fast i dont get to see the error ..

There should be a way to work around that...

I'm not sure if this will work, but try running TNM7 through the DOS Prompt.  Maybe it won't close the screen so fast in that case.

If that doesn't work, there *is* a way to ensure that the window stays open, but I don't recall it.  Oliver will be able to help.

You could try doing a screen capture really quickly :)

Have you tried running it from an open DOS shell? Running it through a
shortcut sometimes throws off Windows. This is true for all DOS-based
applications.

If you run it from a DOS shell, what is the error it gives you when it
crashes?

Also, when TNM crashes, it doesn't have a chance to close TNMGS.EXE
(Visualizer) properly. In those cases, please kill TNMGS.EXE in the
Task Manager. If in doubt, disable the Visualizer in Options to see if
your TNM runs fine if it is deactivated. In theory, it shouldn't make
a difference because TNM isn't "aware" of the Visualizer at all, but
you never know.

None. I just tried and your codes work fine.

Oliver

Hi John,

please send me your TNM7SE folder zipped and I'll return it to you fixed.

Thanks,

Oliver

You can help yourself by deleting all .EXE, .PBC, .LOG, .TBU, .ZIP files and the MEDIA folder.
