WeightClass Wizard - Access Denied?

Critic of the DawnPosted on 09/08/04 at 17:28:51

I just installed the Weightclass Wizard, and instead of running when I select it, I get the text "Access Denied" on the center right of my screen.

At first, I thought this might be because I was running a beta and hadn't yet registered it, but after inputting my registration code (which was accepted), I continued to get this message rather than the plugin even attempting to load.

What should I do? Am I missing a file? The Data folder in the WeightClass Wizard's section of the Plugins folder appears to be empty, if that helps at all.

I'm running TNM Second Edition, Build 2a.

Could you please send me a screenshot of what happens? Just hit ALT+PRINT and paste it into an e-mail.

Thank you very much!

This hasn't been reported yet, BTW.

Update: Problem solved!

This was actually a Service Pack 2 issue.  Service Pack 2 is very nice in that it blocks out most potentially harmful content.  Unfortunately, it sometimes works in ways that I wouldn't anticipate.  The problem here wasn't in the plugin or in TNM, it was in the fact that Service Pack 2 blocked some of the files from unzipping because it wasn't sure they were safe since the file was emailed to me.

Apparently I had to save the .zip file to my hard drive, right click it, select "Properties," choose to "Unblock" the .zip file, and then unzip the contents rather than simply unzipping as usual.

Deleting my original install of the program, doing all of this, and reinstalling it results in a perfectly working program.  So the error was, in fact, on my side and not on that of the plugin.

Thanks to Oliver for his speedy email tech support in resolving this issue! :)
