Visualizer Question for Mr. Copp

Owen Hart RIPPosted on 07/06/04 at 16:43:59

Oliver, the last time I used TNM7SE, I assigned one of my wrestlers a .jpg pic and when I went to have a match all I got in Visualizer under his name was a blank area (not even the blue no-picture available area was there) What did I do wrong?

Does the picture show up correctly when using the Image Wizard?

I just downloaded the Visualizer Wizard and I get the same problem when I try to assign a pic to a wrestler. How can I fix this?

What we've discovered so far thanks to another board member is that you should run TNM 7 SE from the command prompt and not through a link on your desktop.

If you run it through the command prompt, does the problem persist?

whats the command prompt?

It's the icon labelled "MS DOS" or something similar and you usually can find it in Programs -> Accessories.

I tried that and I still don't see pictures

Do you have Internet Explorer 5 or higher installed? (This is required due to the fact that IE5+ update some system libraries which are required for displaying JPEGs)

Which DLLs are in the TNM7SE folder? There should be two: GFXT_JPG.DLL and GFXT_PRO.DLL. If you right-click either in the Explorer and select Properties and then click on the "Version" tab, what version does it give you (e.g. 2.1.4.0)?

Thanks!

GFXT_PRO.DLL 2.1.40 for that one and the other says 2.0.0.0

Im having the same problem.  I saw the images pop up once. Then after that they stopped. I have the Visualizer "X" does this make a difference?
adamPosted on 08/21/04 at 23:15:48

GFXT_JPG.DLL version is (2, 0, 0, 0)
GFXT_PRO.DLL version is (2, 1, 4, 0)

That's my versions? Do I need an updated version?

Another question concerning this subject. Do the images have to be a certain size? Maybe my image is too big?
