Question of Oliver...

americamamushiPosted on 06/30/04 at 00:19:19

Just out of curiosity, how does TNM decide when someone quits, gives notice, or decides not to renew their contract.  And when hiring, how does it decide whether someone will reject you or not?  What factors go into deciding these things?

It's partially random.

Other factors influencing said decision:

- win-loss-record
- way the person is being booked (accounts for 10-50% of the decision, depending on the wrestler)
- injury rate

Ok I can see that...

HAH!  I knew it!  :)  those old school rules were kinda an attempt to prove it... without asking... they also have sorta proven that when you book heel vs face on a consistent basis, you tend to see marked improvement in the crowd heat for the talents.  ;)

- injury rate

Never woulda guessed THAT one.

People usually don't like being booked into matches where they constantly injure themselves - i.e., high-risk gimmick matches.
