Installation problem

markPosted on 06/25/04 at 14:44:49

I run the install on my pc but when I run the tnm.bat file nothing happens.
I have a Pentium 4 notebook with winxp professional on it.
Anyone has a solution?

Did it install correctly? I.e., did the installer start up, ask you where to install the program to etc?

Have you tried running TNM.BAT (in the TNM7SE folder) from the Explorer?

the installer start up and asks me where to install the program to and I've tried running TNM.BAT (in the TNM7SE folder) from the Explorer but the dos window opens and then closes and nothing more happens

OK, in that case, you might want to open a DOS command prompt and type:

c: (or whatever drive you installed TNM 7 SE to)
cd \tnm7se (or the path you installed it to)
tnm

What error message does it crash with?

Thanks,

Oliver

Not the same as from Explorer: the DOS window remains opened but nothing happens and I'm given the Dos prompt again.

Hmmm... I actually don't have any explanation for this...

Does this also happen if/when you run the program PROGRAM\CARD.EXE from the command prompt?
