Owen Hart RIP | Posted on 06/21/04 at 20:33:23 I finally got FE back now. So that'll tie me over until I can afford to register to SE. I still may keep FE on my system after I register to SE though, since I can't make gimmick matches with SE :- I still have six days until my SE trial runs out though! |
Maccam16 | Posted on 06/22/04 at 09:45:54 I can't make gimmik matches in SE either, I get some strange error. I make them in 6.2+ and export them, which takes time but I never really need to make that many anyway... FCA Cubed is almost as easy. |
Owen Hart RIP | Posted on 06/22/04 at 15:56:12 Yeah, but everytime I run FCA cubed matches I get subscribt out of range errors! |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/22/04 at 22:00:53 Maccam - are you using Win98 SE? |
Maccam16 | Posted on 06/22/04 at 23:32:55 I know it's WIN98, I don't know if its Second Edition or not... |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/23/04 at 11:52:01 That explains it. Some people with Win98 SE are having this problem, although it seems to be exclusive to the English version. I recently installed Win98 SE German and it didn't happen on my end. I'm currently in the process of getting Win98 SE English and hopefully will be able to offer a workaround within the next two weeks. |
Owen Hart RIP | Posted on 06/23/04 at 15:09:59 Actually, Oliver. I'm using Windows '95 and I'm having that problem as well! |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 06/23/04 at 15:18:56 That's news to me but not suprising since both use the same DOS shell. There are two families of DOS shells: Win 95/98/ ME and Win NT4/2K/XP. I hope that the workaround I'll find for 98 will also help you. |
