Moving my TNM
phudjie | Posted on 04/30/04 at 03:51:34 .....I'm pretty this has been touched on before, so I'm sorry for bringing this up. .....I have to reformat my harddrive, is it possible to create a back-up of my current tnm and then when I reinstall, use that back-up on my newly installed tnm? .....What other options do I have? |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 04/30/04 at 08:05:05 I'd recommend just zipping up the entire folder and copying that to a CD, then doing it in reverse after reformatting. |
phudjie | Posted on 04/30/04 at 09:15:52 .....thanks alot :D |
Rick Garrard | Posted on 04/30/04 at 14:40:00 just make sure than when copying back from the CD to the computer that the files have the "read-only" box unchecked, or you will get errors because TNM won't be able to save to the appropriate files. I speak from experience. :) |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 04/30/04 at 14:52:43 That's why I said he should ZIP up the folder prior to moving the ZIP to the CD :) |
