Windows XP Problem

This wasn't isn't directly TNM related, but it's affecting my TNM, so I thought I could maybe get some help here.

I just got a new computer, and it has Windows XP.  The problem is, any time I run an application (TNM, basically anything with the .exe extension) t will run for about 5 seconds, and then shut itself down.  No error message or anything... it's just shut down.  Any idea what might be causing this?

A virus? An over-zealous protection software?

Perhaps, but all the virus scans I've done have turned up nothing.

I'm having this same problem.  I did the trick you told someone else where it would keep the dos window open in case the program crashed.  It came up with Error 5 at pgm-ctr: 75903.  Any idea on how to fix this?  Thanks.

An update on the error 5 that I was getting.  I figured out that it happened only whenever I would try to load a plugin into the New Plugs folder.  When I do that and try to load up TNM7.bat it closes out and gives me that error.  Once I take the plugin out of the folder, it will let me load it back up, but without the plugins there are no wrestlers in the game.  Any help on how to get the plugins loaded without it crashing?

I think there's a misunderstanding here. Plugins are programs, not wrestler files. These are supposed to go into the NEWPLUGS folder. Please unzip wrestler export files to the EXPORTS folder which sits right inside your TNM 7 SE folder.

Add the wrestlers by going into the ControlCenter (Database menu) and clicking "Import".

For which plugin does the error pop up?

Actually once I did that it was fine.  I think I was trying to put them into the wrong place and that's what brought up the error.  Thanks for the help.
