Database question

TecmoNickPosted on 02/15/04 at 20:35:34

I have been away from TNM for a while and I can't remember how to clean out my database. I want to get rid of the current wrestlers in it so I can start from scratch. Any help would be appreciated.

That includes moves, managers, etc.  I want an empty database.

An empty database (completely) isn't recommended. At least the moves that are shipped with TNM 7 SE should remain in the program.

The quickest way to clean everything out is to delete the wrestlers in the ControlCenter and then use the Database Cleaner to delete all tag teams, dives, managers and moves (in this order).

By deleting the wrestlers will it get rid of the moves that didn't come with TNM?

Also, when trying to use the database claeaner, it says I need a newer version of TNM7 to run it.  If I download the latest version with the visualizer, and register it, will I be fine?

I just downloaded the version with the visualizer and got rid of the old one.  This is a lot easier way for me to start from scratch.  Thanks.

You're welcome.

Still, if you want to get rid of all non-essential data, it would be best to use the Database Cleaner plugin.

Do not run it directly - it's a plugin. To install the program, unzip it into the NEWPLUGS folder which sits in your TNM 7 SE folder.

Then start up TNM 7 SE and off you go :)
