james_mercurial | Posted on 02/03/04 at 15:09:11 hi oliver, running on tnm7SE, i keep getting the above msg whenever i'm starting a card. it crashes the program. any idea what it could be and how i can remedy the problemo? :'( |
H8-Superstar | Posted on 02/04/04 at 06:27:15 Right-click the DOS Prompt on your Windows desktop and click Properties. Have "Prevent Application From Detecting Windows" box checked. See if that works. |
james_mercurial | Posted on 02/04/04 at 14:53:34 i'm sorry, i don't get what you mean on that one. i'm running on win95 if that's an issue. i went into the 'properties' on tnm7se and there was no box with that on it. :'( |
vphank | Posted on 02/04/04 at 17:53:25 I have nothing of importance to say but..... Windows 95?? |
psz | Posted on 02/04/04 at 20:46:36 What's odd about that? TNM runs in Dos... |
rgarrard | Posted on 02/05/04 at 01:12:46 Well if means anything I still have a computer that runs tnm very well on windows 3.11 for Workgroups. It's not my everyday computer, but it does run TNM. ;) |
H8-Superstar | Posted on 02/05/04 at 07:18:14 I would still love to have PC runs on Win95 or 98 so I can play DOS games that been stored up thanks to ME. |
rgarrard | Posted on 02/05/04 at 22:27:56 H8, might I suggest checking around on ebay? There are always plenty of OLD computers there that people are almost giving away. :) And occasionally, you may even stumble upon a great machine at a REALLY low price in regards to the old DOS gaming formats. :) |
Oliver Copp | Posted on 02/15/04 at 13:35:23 Regarding the error: it would be best if you zipped up your entire TNM 7 SE folder and sent it my way. It's probably something very easy to fix but impossible to diagnose remotely. |
