Error 2 at pgm-ctr: 35052

andytechPosted on 12/04/03 at 07:56:56

I'm running TNM7SE with Visualizer Release 1.  I was cleaning up my tag team, wrestler, manager, and move databases.  Then I ran TNM7DIAG to make sure everything was in order.  Apparently the circuit databases got messed up so they were deleted.  The problem I am having now is when I try to either add, modify, or clone a tag team in the TNM Control Center, I get Error 2 at pgm-ctr: 35052.  Any ideas?

Thanks,
Andy

Do you have the very latest codebase installed? What date and time does the file CCENTER.PBC in the PROGRAM folder have?
andytechPosted on 12/07/03 at 03:31:30

I think I have the latest code.  The time/date stamp for CCENTER.PBC says 1:33AM on December 4, 2003.

Did the file I sent you help?
andytechPosted on 12/07/03 at 23:35:45

After I installed the file you sent me, I got the following instead:

Error 2 at pgm-ctr: 34696

Should I try to reinstall TNM?

No, it would be best if you zipped up your entire TNM7SE folder and sent it my way. Error 2s ("wrong data type") logically shouldn't be able to happen and I'd like to get to the bottom of this.

The error occurs when trying to display one of the menu forms. Obviously, these forms have been tested and most of them haven't been changed in years, so this error popping up now is somewhat surprising, in particular since it seems to be an isolated incident :-)

I am attempting to send you my TNM folder right now.  I reduced the size of it by not sending my MEDIA folder, and my THEMES are in a directory outside the directory structure.

If it helps, I found that if I make a backup using the backup routine in the program, I can access the tag teams for one session.

Thank you very much. I received your e-mail and will be looking at it over the weekend.

Any luck figuring out my problem?
Oliver CoppPosted on 12/20/03 at 18:24:34

As a matter of fact - no. The thing is: your TNM behaves absolutely fine right here - no errors, no nothing.

Did these features work correctly before the circuit databases showed up as being bad?

This is positively strange.

Yes.  The problem started after I deleted tag teams that I no longer wanted.

I'm somewhat at a loss for words here. If the same ZIP file containing the exact same DATA works for me (on four different machines) and doesn't work for you, I'd tend to say that it's a problem related to your system as opposed to the program itself.

What I'll do is recompile the CCENTER.PBC file for you with different options. Maybe that'll help. You'll be finding it in your inbox in a few minutes.

I haven't seen that file yet.  Let me know when you send it.

Thanks,
Andy
