Very minor bug(?)

Critic_of_the_DawnPosted on 08/18/03 at 08:01:28

Just got back from 10 days in England.  I ran a card in my main circuit, but had to leave after the next to last match.  While I was out grocery shopping, my computer crashed and fouled things up a bit to the point where I had to close the card to avoid getting Error 70s.  Luckily I knew what was supposed to happen and reported the results in the comments section of the now-empty card.

Anyway, I'm getting off topic, as the above has nothing to do with the problem I've spotted.

It seems that, on occasion, registered Tag Teams with names and everything will be introduced without the tag team name.  In the case of the incidence of the bug(feature?) I spotted today, it looked something like this:

Making their way to the ring...
Weightng in at 487 pounds...

Brian "Spanky" Kendrick and "The Innovator" Chris Kanyon
instead of:

Making their way to the ring...
Weighing in at 490 pounds...

The Innovators
The other team in the match had its name come up normally, and I've seen this one come up normally in the past as well.  The Tag Team database seems fine, as I selected The Innovators via the Tag Team button and their name was there as it always has been before.

So basically, it seems like TNM7 is occasionally forgetting to use Tag Team names.  It's a very very minor cosmetic thing, but I figured I should report it anyway.

Hi Eric,

first of all - welcome back :-)

I do recommend that you get the latest codebase which you can find here:

http://www.tnm7.com/downloads/visualizer/install.zip

Unzip it to your TNM 7 SE folder and THEN run INSTALL.BAT in the TNM 7 SE folder.

You'll not only notice this bug going away but you will see that ring intro have totally been redone from scratch :)

Got it.  I'll have a looksie a bit later.  Thanks. :)

I assume I can safely toss out all the zip files and the installer now that everything is installed, yes?  Just making sure.  I've created enough bugs for myself by taking shortcuts.  ;D

Yes, you can safely delete the ZIPs and the install.bat file *g*
