Window size

Is there any way to make the size of your Dos window bigger using Windows XP?

My window size is pretty small, and when i use preferences to make it bigger, all it does is make a big blue box under the bit that says TNM 7 Second Edition...

Yes, the recommended way of doing this is choosing a different font size such as 10x18. To do this, click the icon on the top left of your DOS box and select Properties (or whatever the last item is called). Then go to the Font tab.

Or you can hit ALT+ENTER to bring it to full screen.

On the old TNM7.com, in the Guest Articles section I had a nice lil drawn out description of how to set up Windows 9x to allow you to "play in a window without squinting" ;->

Second guest article ever, in fact:

*EDIT*
On a related note, it's nice to see the Ultimo Dragon bio I did for the Interactive DB section in 1999 is still there

Yes, indeed... you've been along for the ride for quite a while :-)

I'm actually very happy looking around here and on the mailing lists that almost nobody who was part of the core group in 1997 and 1998 left. It's still the same people, having taken very different routes in life.

Heh, I was thinking of the "old crew" the other day (RobViper for example) and the "old trolls" (ahappycamper)... Interesting ride since I bought 6.2+ back in... 96? 97? I dun even remember... Beta testing 7 was a blast.

Just wish I had the $$$ (and time) for SE :-P

Ahh well... Few months ;->
