Trouble Installing TweakCirc

SauronPosted on 08/02/03 at 17:13:20

I have TNM Second Edition Build 1, but when I try to install TweakCirc it says 'Sorry you need an updated version of TNM 7. You can get it from the TNM homepage'.

Help?

Thanks.

I get the same problem.

Had the same problem...I solved it by downloading the TweakCircSE and putting it in the NewPlugs folder. Then extracted it to the Plugins folder. Then I went in and started TNM...then went to Plugins...TweakCirc (Trial) and registered it...hope that explains it...I think where you run into problems is when it's extracted and you double click the .exe file if I'm not mistaken...at least that's what I did...good luck...

that is what I did initially, thanks for the help, after this card is done, I'll attempt and let you know

I successfully put it into the right folder and registered it, but when I go to Run Plugin, it doesn't work... I go into Delete, Register, or About Plugin and it's there, but not when I go to RUN...

Any help, hints or suggestions?

Run it from in your circuit. Hit the "p" key and then choose the plugin you want to run.

Could you please let me know step by step what you do when trying to install TweakCirc? I'll then be able to tell you exactly what went wrong.

Thanks!

When it happened to me, I was attempting to install it using the *.exe file that was in the zip. I've never used a plugin, so I was unaware that you had to install it FROM TNM... hope that helps out.

That certainly would explain it. ALWAYS extract the plugin ZIP file into the NEWPLUGS folder.
