The ECW Arena was jam packed with people who were ready to see some of their favorite stars from the ECW days of yore get back into the squared circle. And those same fans got what they wanted with New Jack, Sabu, and RVD all in action.

1. Travis Cade and Lucifer Magnusson defeated New Jack and Hoffa in a Fans Supply The Weapons Match when Magnusson pinned New Jack after the Catalepsy Driver in 0:18:48.

What an incredible match. The fans were very much into this and supplied all 4 men with enough 'weapons of mass destruction'.

Some of the highlights of the match were the use of such objects as a dildo and a Sony Playstation.

Who the hell is Jack Evans and where did he come from? He took to the air and everywhere against Gotti but in the end, it was a mistake to go for the enzuigiri that cost Evans the match.

Anyways, we will see more of Evans in the coming weeks and surely at our next ppv as he is the first entrant signed to the Rumble match.

3. Sabu defeated Van Wild in a Clockwork Orange House Of Fun Match by pinfall
after the Triple Jump Moonsault in 0:08:55.
Rating: ***

The crowd went nuts from bell to bell as Sabu and Van Wild tore into each other using everything they could find at ringside and in the end, Sabu set a chair up in the ring and landed his amazing Triple Jump Moonsault finisher to get the win.

4. Scott Starring defeated Rob Van Dam in a Empty Arena Match by pinfall with a
Frankensteiner in 0:23:23.
Rating: ****

Earlier in the day, prior to the crowd being let into the building, Starring and RVD took each other on in an Empty Arena match that went all over the place. As a matter of fact, these two men went the full 20 minutes and the ref allowed five more minutes to get to a decisive win and Starring pulled it off 3 minutes later.

The post match was ridiculous though as Hell's Army brawled with Tuckwell & Smith only to have Punk and Acid get in the faces of Tuckwell & Smith for costing them the match.

The board of directors have made a match for next week that will put all 3 teams in the ring at the same time.

a match that was right up his alley.

We also saw LaGrange get control of the Double Lariat Ranch branding iron hanging above the ring but it didn't matter because Diablo finished LaGrange off without any need of the branding iron.

Card rating: *** 1/2

Match observations:

Tonight was a pretty impressive event for RPW. Alot of carnage ensued and what better place for it than the original House of Hardcore, the ECW Arena.

We almost saw a new World champion crowned but Austin held on to the title for another week while Hell's Angels walked out of Philly with the tag titles back in their possession.

We also saw the debut of Jack Evans who will be in the Rumble match at the PPV in a few weeks along with Van Wild, Sabu, RVD, Scott Starring, CM Punk, Trent Acid and just signed, Gotti. The winner of the Rumble will get a singles title shot at a later date. We will learn the other 22 entries as the PPV draws nearer.

For next week, we will be coming from Pittsburgh, PA and our lineup is shaping up as follows:

In a 3 way dance - Tuckwell and Smith will face Ripper and Fenriz as well as CM Punk and Trent Acid.

Van Wild and Scott Starring will face RVD and Sabu and the winner will move one step closer to being the #1 contender for the tag titles. This will be a NO DQ match.

Steve Austin will have to defend his World title against Teddy Diablo.

And we will announce 9 more names for the RUMBLE.

Kell jobs again:(

But at least he got an almost five star match out of Steve Austin.
Richard Garcia JrPosted on 06/26/04 at 19:41:12

Are some of your guys, independent wrestlers or fantasy?
xsouporheroxPosted on 06/26/04 at 20:42:09

Fantasy. They are from an e-fed Shaun and I are both in. Where I handle Justin Kell if you hadn't picked up on that, lol.
