UCW Title Clash Night 1:

[Round 1]\
Brian XL pinned Jushin Thunder Liger after a sitdown faceslam in 0:06:10.
Rating: ** 3/4

Comments:This is a first round match of the X Division Title Tournament. Brian XL actually kept up with the veteran and Liger missed a dive to the floor which sealed his face. A sitdown Faceslam scored the pin.

[Round 1]
Shane Helms pinned Michael Shane after a running power bomb in 0:09:39.
Rating: *** 1/4
Comments:A good match between two top stars. Shane Helms is tired of being a joke and is just going to be himself. Shane Helms gets the Vertebreaker but the referee was knocked down. He gets only a 2 and a half count. Running Power Bomb however puts Michael Shane away.

[Round 1]
Paul London pinned CM Punk with the London Calling in 0:05:42.
Rating: * 1/4
Comments:Well this is a spot fest with not much psycology. They had some good moments for a 6 minute match but in the end Paul London's moves were a little bit better and he pinned CM Punk to advance to the semifinals.

[Round 1]
Funaki pinned Tenacious Z with the Northern Lights Suplex in 0:10:48.
Rating: 3/4*
-Another spotfest. Funaki got sick of Teancious Z, surprising him with every move so Funaki hit a fisherman buster, leaping Swinging DDT, and a DDT before finishing off the one leg wonder with a Northern Lights Suplex.

[Semi-Finals]
Brian XL pinned Shane Helms with the X-Clamation Point in 0:05:58.
Rating: ***
-Brian XL gets his second top flight win of the night against a more experienced Helms. X-Clamation Point scores the win and Brian XL is in the finals of the X Division Title tournament.

[Semi-Finals]
Paul London pinned Funaki with the London Calling in 0:09:08.
Rating: * 3/4
-Spotfest with some stalling. Sabu match if you will. Paul London blocks a fisherman buster and hits the London Calling for the win. He will face Brian XL in the semfinals.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant UCW X Title\
Brian XL pinned Paul London after a power bomb in 0:05:25.
Rating: ** 1/2
(Brian XL won the UCW X Title.)
-This match was good but it was over before the really good stuff could happen. A rana attempt from London is blocked and he is power bombed for the pin. Brian XL is your first ever UCW X Division Champion.

[Round 1]
Al Snow pinned Dean Malenko with the Snow Plow in 0:10:34.
Rating: * 3/4
-TV Title first round match. The two didn't gell well enough but Al Snow came up on top with the Snow Plow. Not too good but decent.

[Round 1]\
Masato Tanaka pinned Brian Pillman with the Roaring Elbow in 0:01:59.
Rating: *
-This was a squash. Masato Tanaka looked really pissed off and he elbowed the shit out of Flyin' Brian to score the pin.

[Round 1]\
Val Venis pinned Maven with the Money Shot in 0:09:30.
Rating: * 1/2
-Back and forth match. Maven hit the Missile Dropkick but Lizzy Borden(Val Venis's manager in this fed) puts his feet on the rope. Val gains control and Money Shots Maven for the pin.

[Round 1]\
Mike Awesome pinned Rodney Mack with the Awesome Bomb in 0:09:41.
Rating: ** 3/4
-Mike Awesome stiffed the shit out of Rodney Mack putting him through a bunch of tables and scored the pin with the Awesome Bomb. Awesome did not back the Mack by the looks of it.

[Semi-Finals]\
Al Snow pinned Masato Tanaka with the Snow Plow in 0:06:54.
Rating: **
-Upset win by Al Snow. If fact Dean Malenko attacked Al Snow on the outside, making it look more grim for Snow. A baseball bat got involved and Snow managed to hit a stiff shot with it and hit the Snow Plow on Tanaka to move to the finals.

[Semi-Finals]\
Val Venis pinned Mike Awesome after a fisherman suplex in 0:08:37.
Rating: **
-Mike Awesome looked to get the win until Lizzy Borden tripped Awesome. Val hits a fisherman suplex about a minute later to score the pin. Snow vs Venis in the finals.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant UCW Television Title
Val Venis pinned Al Snow after a crucifix in 0:09:44.
Rating: * 1/2
(Val Venis won the UCW Television Title.)
-Snow and Val Venis had an even match but the ending was sudden. Al went for a clothesline but Val caught the arm and crucifixed Al Snow. Al couldn't get out and Val scored the pin to become the first UCW Television Champion.

[Semi-Finals]
Team Workrate defeated Special K when Duggan pinned Izzy with the
Old Glory Kneedrop in 0:10:59.
Rating: -3/4*
-Team Workrate is the team of Jim Duggan and Steve McMichael. Special K is Izzy and Dixie. Duggan scores the pin with the Old Glory Kneedrop on Izzy after a pretty lame match.

[Semi-Finals]
Da Hit Squad defeated Tough Enough (John Hennigan and Matt Cappotelli) when
Monsta pinned M. Cappotelli after a running powerslam in 0:06:07.
Rating: 1/2*
-Can you say murder. I knew you could. Da Hit Squad beat the shit out of the Tough Enough guys and Monsta Mack pinned Matt Cappotelli with a running powerslam.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant UCW Tag Team Titles
Team Workrate defeated Da Hit Squad when McMichael pinned Mafia with the
Tombstone Piledriver in 0:09:03.
Rating: 1/2*
(Team Workrate won the UCW Tag Team Titles.)
-Stiff match here. Team Workrate prevailed when Steve McMichael pinned Mafia with the Tombstone Piledriver. Steve McMichael and Jim Duggan are your first UCW Tag Team Champions. That sure says something about the tag team division when these two win it unbooked doesn't it.

Title Clash Part 2 will be up whenever I feel like posting it. In the mean time FEEDBACK.

Title Clash Night 2:
[Round 1]
Rob Van Dam pinned Mike Awesome with the Five Star Frog Splash in 0:08:07.
Rating: ***
-This is a first round match in the United States Title Tournament. Good match too. Awesome is Awesome and Rob Van Dam is nearly pinned several times. Awesome tried to put RVD through a table with a frog splash but Van Dam moved and Van Dam hit the five star for the pin.

[Round 1]
Steve McMichael pinned Spanky after a powerslam in 0:07:02.
Rating: -* 3/4
-Well Mongo manages to advance foward. Spanky sadly isn't the guy that could carry McMichael.

[Round 1]
The Amazing Red pinned Diamond Dallas Page with the Infra Red in 0:13:35.
Rating: * 1/2
-Red scores a BIG Upset over DDP. Sure it was mostly spots. DDP can wrestle well with someone who can put a match together. Red isn't the guy. Its just high spot, high spot, high spot, with no rhyme or rhythem.

[Round 1]\
Jerry Lynn pinned Dean Malenko after a flying legdrop in 0:06:43.
Rating: ** 3/4
-If this match would have gotten 5 or 10 more minutes it would have been classic. Lynn reversed something(sorry didn't catch what) into a spinning headscissors and hit a flying legdrop for the pin.

[Semi-Finals]
Steve McMichael pinned Rob Van Dam after a powerslam in 0:01:54.
Rating: -* 1/2
-NOOO. Mongo beat Rob Van Dam. Stupid TNM. This was a squash and the sad thing is one half of Team Workrate is in the finals.

[Semi-Finals]\
The Amazing Red pinned Jerry Lynn with his special move in 0:12:00.
Rating: *** 3/4
-These two went at it to perhaps make up for the sucky Mongo match before them. Red hit Code Red out of no where to score the pin. Lynn controlled Red's spotty tendencies throughout the match.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant UCW United States Title\
The Amazing Red pinned Steve McMichael with his special move in 0:11:05.
Rating: -**
(The Amazing Red won the UCW United States Title.)
-Thank god. Mongo was his typical self. Red hits the Code Red for the pin to become the first UWA United States Champion. Sadly the other half of Team Workrate, Jim Duggan, is in the World Title tournament.

[Round 1]\
Chris Benoit pinned Bret Hart after a backslide in 0:14:20.
Rating: ** 3/4
-Sadly these two didn't mesh. Benoit hit about 50 German Suplexes and Bret seemed to be phoning it it. An European uppercut is turned into a backslide for the pin.

[Round 1]
Masato Tanaka pinned The Undertaker after Diamond Dust in 0:05:28.
Rating: * 1/4
-Hmm interesting choice by the random pairing of Eight. Diamond Dust scored the pin in this mish-mesh of styles.

[Round 1]
Rey Misterio Jr. pinned Shane Douglas with the West Coast Pop in 0:08:38.
Rating: **
-This was brawling vs speed. It didn't gell. Rey won with the 619 and West Coast Pop.

[Round 1]
Jim Duggan pinned Kurt Angle with the Old Glory Kneedrop in 0:08:59.
Rating: 3/4*
-Poor Kurt. Kurt tried to make the Hacksaw look good but Duggan hit about 20 clotheslines and finished Angle off with the Old Glory Kneedrop.

[Semi-Finals]
Masato Tanaka pinned Chris Benoit after a backdrop suplex in 0:08:30.
Rating: ***
-Damn fine back but too short. Way too short. Masato hit a backdrop suplex out of no where for the pin.

[Semi-Finals]
Jim Duggan pinned Rey Misterio Jr. with the Old Glory Kneedrop in 0:12:20.
Rating: * 1/2
-Well Rey hit a bunch of high flying moves but the old kneedrop spelled the end. Rey bumped well bringing the match above a star.

[Finals]: Match for the vacant UCW World Title
Jim Duggan and Masato Tanaka battled to a double countout in 0:05:44.
Rating: 1/4*
(The UCW World Title remained vacant.)
-Ladies and Gentlemen we have no World Champion. A double countout in the title finals. So next month these two will fight again with the title on the line. and following a precedent I do with other feds I run unbooked when a title is not decided in a tournament it will be a LADDER MATCH. Hmm Jim Duggan in a Ladder Match. That should be a treat. Since its Jim Duggan we can make it a Taped Fist Ladder Match.

Next Month at UCW Meltdown:

Jim Duggan vs Masato Tanaka in a Taped Fist Ladder Match for the Vacant UCW World Title.

The Amazing Red faces Jerry Lynn for the United States Title in a return match from the Semifinals of the tournament.

Da Hit Squad will face Matt and John of Tough Enough in a winners are the number one contenders for the UCW Tag Team Titles held by Team Workrate.

Steve McMichael will face Rodney Mack. Mongo does not back the Mack.

Val Venis defends the UCW Television Title against Rob Van Dam. Will the diabolic Lizzy Borden lend a hand into Val Venis's match again.

Also in a six elimination match:Rey Misterio Jr, Shane Helms, Reckless Youth, Michael Shane, CM Punk, and Spanky will go at it for the right to face the UCW X Division Champion Brian XL.

Also Brian XL defends that title against Dixie from Special K.

All that and probally more in UWA Meltdown.
